The most comfortable headphones I have ever worn
To start with, the sound quality on these is, in my opinion, excellent. I am by no means an audiophile, so it's definitely a subjective statement, but I am personally very pleased with them in that regard. However I feel that the area that these headphones truly shine is their comfort. These are, with no exaggeration, the most comfortable pair of headphones I have ever used. I can wear them all day and completely forget that they are even on my head. The fact that they sit on the ear instead of in the ear is a huge contributing factor to that. They are adjustable to fit a variety of ear sizes, and I was able to very easily find a position that worked well for me. I have a comparable pair of JBL earphones and they are far less comfortable when compared to these, constantly making my ears ache, and requiring lengthy breaks from using them throughout the day. With my music paused I can hear just as well as I normally can, as if I don't have headphones on at all, and even with music playing I can still hear my surroundings well enough to be able to react to events around me, but not so much that it distracts from the listening experience. The touch controls are easy to use and offer a good range of functions. The volume can get more than loud enough for me to hear clearly in all but the most absolutely noisy environments. Even at their loudest the sound doesn't travel far enough from your ears to be a nuisance to those around you.Battery life is absolutely phenomenal, I can listen to music through my entire work day without getting a low battery warning, and when it is time to charge them they charge in their case extremely quickly. For the price I consider these to be an absolute value king. I would happily buy these again if I ever needed another pair, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a pair of over the ear earphones.

Better than Raycon Open Earbuds. Perfect for a toddler mom / daith piercing (updated review)
I’m coming back to update my review after having used these TOZO buds for quite some time. My husband just gifted me the new Raycon Open Earbuds which I was very excited to try considering how much I love my TOZO buds. Being a well-known name in audio, I definitely expected the Raycons to be better, as I’ve had good experiences with my Raycon Fitness Earbuds, but that was not the case with the Open Earbuds. I really felt the difference as soon as I tried them on, and this has just increased my love and appreciation of the TOZO buds. The TOZO buds produce a more satisfying sound overall at the same volume level as the Raycons. The TOZO buds also have waaaay better bass and just more depth of sound overall. I felt like I had cotton in my ears listening to one of my favorite heavy metal songs with the Raycons; music sounds so compressed and flattened with no punch or vibration (maybe some might consider that a plus?). I instantly switched to my TOZOs to listen to the same part of the song at the same volume level just to make sure I wasn’t imagining things, and the sound was noticeably soooo much better, more punchy, and with more depth. It’s like the difference between stereo and surround sound to me.I mentioned in my original review that I primarily use my open earbuds for listening to audiobooks rather than music (usually with only one bud in at a time). The Raycons sound lighter and tinnier than the TOZO buds regardless of if I’m using one or two, but both brands work decently for this purpose. I also mentioned that I had to switch to open buds out of necessity while I was healing a daith piercing. I’ve since taken the daith out and let it close and I still prefer my TOZO buds to any other types or brands of earphones. The TOZO buds over time have shown a little bit of wear such that I’ve definitely noticed one bud is not as loud or clear as it used to be, but I simply compensate for this by turning it up a little bit more. This difference is nonexistent when wearing both at once anyway. The other thing I’ve noticed is that over time, the buds fail to automatically unpair from my phone when I place them back in the capsule. I don’t know if this is because of a problem with the alignment of the sensors or if I maybe just need to give my capsule and buds a good cleaning, but sometimes I have to manually disconnect my TOZO buds using my Bluetooth settings in my phone.I was lucky enough to notice as I was coming back to update my review that the black TOZO buds are 50% off right now for $40, so I just purchased my third pair as a backup (I gifted one to my husband after falling in love with my first pair). As far as price point goes, the list price for the Raycons is about $10 cheaper than the TOZO buds at $69.99. Both frequently go on sale. As mentioned, I’ve been lucky enough to catch the TOZO buds on sale each time I’ve purchased them, getting them for around $40 each. Despite how much I love them, I would not personally pay $80 for this type of item. In the last week, I’ve seen the Raycons go on sale varying from 20-40% off and they currently cost $55.99 as I am updating this review. So if the price of either is too steep for you, just keep your eye out for sales. You can occasionally get a pretty good deal.My original review:I have a daith piercing in my right ear that gets really sore and also causes a poor fit with in-ear earbuds. For over a year, I’ve only been able to wear an AirPod in my left ear and was wishing I could listen to things with my right ear again. Enter these open Tozo earphones. These turned out to be much better than what I was expecting and are now my favorite pair of earphones ever. I was even able to use an Amazon coupon to save some money, so I got plenty of value from these for what I paid.Pairing them was super easy out of the box, and they’ve stayed effortlessly paired to my iPhone since. I actually think they’re more responsive than my AirPods, which don’t always connect when they should. The second I take these Tozo buds out of the charging case, they’re already connected and ready to stream.I can comfortably wear them on both ears, including the one with the sore daith piercing. A bonus is that they allow me to hear my surroundings, so I can avoid accidentally tuning out my toddler or any potential hazards while wearing them outside. I primarily use these for listening to audiobooks while doing chores, walking in the park, or nap trapped, etc. and typically wear only one side at a time. I find they are excellent like this and have listened for many hours at a time without the batteries dying on me. I keep the case charged and will rotate which bud I use from time to time so that they can stay charged and ready. Both buds at once or just one at a time offer great sound and clarity for both audiobooks and music. Soft/low tones in music or audiobooks/podcasts with spoken words can get lost if you are surrounded by a lot of noise. Sometimes I have to increase the volume or rewind to make out what was said in these cases, if the environment is too loud. That said, no one around me has mentioned that they can hear MY media at a noticeable or inconvenient level. As I said, I use them while lying with my napping toddler and they haven’t disturbed him yet.I also tried exercising with them today (I ran on a treadmill and jumped on a trampoline) and they didn’t budge. They’re very customizable/adjustable for the perfect, comfortable, secure fit, and as someone else mentioned, they have a bit of a ratcheting action where you can cinch them down on your ears so that they hold tight and won’t fall off. I have never had any issues with the fit or comfort unless wearing them for hours and hours which may cause some expected soreness due to pressure.I don’t use the press/touch feature much as I typically have my phone in hand, but it seems responsive enough. Tbh, I have always struggled with this kind of mechanic and haven’t mastered all of the commands, but play/pause is simple enough and the only command I’ll probably ever try to use anyway. I will say that if I really cared to learn, compared to my AirPods, these are much easier as the touch zone is much larger and clearly identified. In conclusion, these are quite brilliant little earphones and I’m grateful to have found them. They are definitely a quality of life upgrade in my day to day life.
