This ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Celebration Trio 3-piece Skincare Routine set includes the Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm (50ml), Marine Day Cream (30ml) and Night Cream (30ml). These products come in a variety of retail sizes, but this set has what I’d describe as medium sizes (not small samples) big enough to last me for months. The presentation is darling and definitely giftworthy for someone who enjoys fragrant premium skincare. I’ve been using these products daily for about 10 days (I add a serum, toner, oil, etc.) and am impressed with how my skin looks and feels.The cleansing balm and creams leave my dry, sensitive, mature (55+) skin comfortable even though the products all contain strong fragrance that can be irritating. The balm is especially risky with many fragrant essential oils, some of which I believe have irritated my skin when they’ve been in other products I’ve used. I think it helps that these don’t also have drying alcohol as my skin can’t tolerate it, especially combined with fragrance. With regular use, my skin remains calm and looks especially refined, smooth and radiant. More details are provided as to each product below.Fragrance: All 3 products have chemical fragrance (parfum). The balm smells especially strong with many fragrant essential oils on top of chemical fragrance. The fragrant ingredients pose allergy and irritation risks. My skin is sensitive and has negatively reacted to lavender and menthol (and more), but I haven’t had any noticeable reaction thus far. I try to pair only unscented products with these Elemis products as I think adding even more fragrance is too risky for my skin.The balm smells like a strong botanical blend with lavender, menthol, eucalyptus, citrus and more. I’ve come to really dislike lavender, but the lavender isn’t overpowering and the scent of the balm has grown on me. I think I’m able to tolerate the balm as it’s a rinse off product. The two cream don't smell the same but to me they both smell like rather traditional floral scents. Apart from being strong, I feel neutral about the actual florals scents (which do dissipate after a couple minutes).Cleansing Balm: It has a firm but soft and smooth texture. I just scoop out a little with a clean finger and massage it on my skin with no water or on my slightly damp skin. It cleanses away makeup and grime really well but my skin isn’t stripped, tight or dry. Instead, my skin is soft, conditioned and glowy. The balm leaves a hint of a moisturizing residue that I’ve left for hydration at times, but I usually follow cleansing with an alcohol free toner or warm damp cloth. This balm would be good as a first cleanse for those who like a double cleanse.Day Cream: This has a gel-type cream consistency, absorbs quickly and isn’t sticky or greasy, but doesn’t rely on drying alcohol like many gel creams. It feels lightweight, but it still hydrates my dry skin well. My skin hasn’t been flakey, and it stays comfortable, soft and hydrated all day. My lines seem more plumped and smoother, though I do like to us a fragrance free hyaluronic acid serum before this cream. This cream works well under my makeup. There’s no SPF, so I follow with sunscreen.Night Cream: This is a white cream that’s opaque and denser than the day cream. It still has a rather lightweight feel and isn’t a heavy, greasy or super rich feeling cream. I thought it might be too lightweight, but it actually provides my dry skin ample hydration that lasts all night. Directions say to use a pea size, but I need more for my face, neck and décolleté (perhaps due to dry skin type). My skin feels calm and comfortable. When I wake, my skin looks clear and bright, and also smooth and firmer.I’m happy with how my skin looks and feels using this Elemis trio. I can’t yet speak to what benefits are short term v. longer term benefits and won’t know for many weeks or months. I do feel these products are so fragrant that they pose a significant risk of irritation or allergy to some, yet my sensitive skin hasn’t had an issue and I love the results so far. Plus, I feel $142.50 (current price) makes this a good value as compared to buying the products separately.* So, despite rather strong fragrance, I’m rating this set 5 stars. Made in England.*Note: The cleansing balm and day cream in the sizes in this set retail for $133 total ($40 + $93). So about $10 more includes the 30ml night cream. Elemis retails a 15ml size of the same night cream for $66. This 30ml cream equals 2 in that size ($132 retail total). The largest 50ml size is a better deal than the 15ml size and retails at $169. Even using that price as a measure, the 30ml cream is 3/5 (30 ml/50 ml) the size and 3/5 of the retail would be $101.40. So $10 extra is a better value than buying the products separately.

This is a nice set, but the advertisement is misleading. These are not the normal size containers. The day cream and night cream are only 1oz each instead of the standard 1.7oz size. The day cream is NOT spf 30. The cleanser is only 1.7oz instead of the normal 3.6oz. This is not specified in the listing, so just be aware before buying. It’s still a good set, but not what I was expecting. Not quite the “great” deal advertised, but it is authentic. The seller should really specify the sizes of the containers in the listing.

The packaging is really nice and reminded me of a Tardis. This is absolutely giftable, and while there is a lot more package than there is product it's all paperboard so it can go straight into recycling.None of the three - cleansing balm, day and night creams really has much of a smell. Which is nice because I don't like putting heavily perfumed stuff on my face.I've been using all three of the products daily for a week. I love the cleansing balm. I wasn't aware that this type of product existed. This is the longest I've ever gone cleansing my whole face every day because I don't like the way most cleaners feel. The balm goes on and stays on it isn't drippy and you don't need to use water to make it lather. When you're done you wipe it all off with a warm, damp washcloth and don't have water running down your neck. I'm explaining this poorly but it's a sensory thing.The creams are very luxurious. They make my skin feel sleek and hydrated. I can't say about improvement of fine lines because let's face it I'm old enough that I'm probably not going to see major changes but it makes my face feel great.My favorite part about using this product is that I'm actually using this product and developing a daily facial care routine that I intend to stick with.
