wavemaster MX3+ BT - Bluetooth 2.1 Stereo Speaker System/Set (50 Watt) for TV, gaming, smartphone, PC, tablet / UK version (66507)

I was very pleasantly surprised by this. The speakers are a little odd in that they contain a fake port and tweeter but the sound quality is actually very good from the single cone in each unit. It's probably somewhat 'coloured', but definitely pleasant. Headphones 'out' sounds good too. The sub is small enough to be tucked away (under the desk in my case) but large enough to give the required low-end grunt and blends very well with the satellites. it even provides treble and bass adjustment on its very well considered 'control panel'. The volume knob feels quite nice and heavy and could only really be improved by making it push-on, push-off rather than having to turn it down to zero each time to turn the unit off. It's no great powerhouse but as the sound system for a desktop computer it performs very well. For the price (and then some) I don't think you're going to find anything better.

For the 5 mins that it was working. It sounded really good. Very happy with the quality of the audio for the price.Soon after powering on, loud cracks & pops were coming from the sub. Tried it a little later and there was no bass at all.Positives:Decent quality sound (while it lasted)Very nice wired remote with input/HP jack & on/off switch. Not hard-wired to sub so easy to install on desk.Bass control on sub was effective. Set to minimum, it was perfect for night-time listening. Set to mid-way default point, plenty of bass for a full sound.Negatives:The input cable could have been longer. 2x longer for my liking.Shame I got a faulty one, returning for a refund.

Bass - very very impressive.Vocals and instruments - weak and not very pleasant.Remote control - very convenient to use.Bluetooth - sometimes connect, sometimes does not connect and have to switch it on and off.

Very good value for money very satisfied.Just one defect is that it has no separate treble, the top circle on the speakers being just for aesthetics. Anyway it has treble and it sounds good and i have other system Altec Lansing and compared i can tell u WAveMasters are a little bit better and also they have much protective and wonderfull design!

I can't comment on the product itself as I never got that far. This was bought as a chrismas present and arrived with a smashed box and looking like it had been opened. Inside looked fine but I did not want to risk this being broken as you could see it had been dropped on a corner. Most likely by courier. But i did not want to risk it being used on Xmas day to find it didn't work due to this. This item needs to have its own box and packaging around it to keep it safe. Also so no one can see what it is! Will be ordering another hopefully once refund goes in.

Worked fine for a while, really good clear audio, good bass.And then the left speaker was hissing annoyingly. Removed power plug and plugged it back in and it was working. Now and sometimes the speakers make a popping sound or buzzing sound and the audio/music breaks up. Don't know what to do.

This speaker set is awesome.I have had a number of 2:1 setups in the past costings way more than this set but I have to say this product has delivered exceptional sound, both range and depth with such a small footprint.Hadnt heard of this brand before I searched on Amazon to replace my existing speakers but so glad I found them and would gladly recommend them.

Great product at a great price. Plenty of power, useful tone controls although you can also adjust frequency response using your soundcard software, units are a bit bigger than I thought which means that the sub is squeezed into position. Desktop volume control is useful and works well, also has an auxiliary input and a headphone socket.
