482 battery-powered water pump for quick transfer of liquids and removal of high water

Easy to use and pumped water quite well. Inlet can clog up quite quickly in mucky water but was easy to clean out. You really need to hold it all the time it’s in use so I made a small clip to hold it in place when draining a 50 litre barrel.

I have a problem with my driveway flooding as the soakaway drain does not soak away!I thought this pump would be the answer to all the constant manual bailing out I have to do.What a joke! I could suck the water up through a straw faster than this thing does, and you say it's good for emptying swimming pools! If you have 2 weeks to spare and an endless supply of batteries, then possibly.I can fill a standard bucket with a cup 8 times faster than this pathetic pump can.What a waste of money - which I would like back please as it does not do what it says on the tin!!!

When it works, it works fine, and efficiently. Mine had an on/off switch and I was able to empty the reservoir of my water feature quite quickly. But inevitably a small bit of debris got stuck somewhere and although the batteries worked there was no water flow. I found it impossible to clear the tubes without breaking the housing. However, I am ordering another one because the idea is great; I would just like it to last a little longer than just two uses!

This is proving excellent so far, it does exactly what we want i.e. transferring RO water from large container to fogging and misting devices in our terrarium. My husband has also used it to remove excess water from the terrarium. It is NOT suitable for moving large quantities of water. Although the seller claims it is ideal for emptying ponds, this is somewhat unrealistic. If you need to empty a pond, get something more powerful.

The product description on Amazon is out-of-date. The pump has an on/off switch at the end so there is no need to keep a button depressed. I can rest it against the side of my garden fountain and leave it to empty the basin. It does not rely on a syphon action and works with the end of the tube higher than the nozzle. The motor is small and the flow is slow, but it is fine for emptying my outdoor water features.I was amazed when it was delivered on Good Friday, three days after the order was placed and four days before the earliest estimated date.

Stopped working after two uses. Overpriced and badly made. Have gone back to baling out, which is quicker anyway.

It's exactly what I needed to drain my small garden pond. It isn't fast, and doesn't pretend to be, so if you have a large volume of liquid to shift you might look for something else. It is designed to pump liquid, not sludge so don't expect it to clean out the bottom of your pond - you will have to do that manually, when you've emptied the pond using this little pump.

Disappointing product, I bought this item as I couldn't find an exact replacement for the old pump that had served me well for a few years assuming that it was the same as, apart from the colour, my old pump. It had difficulty pumping water unless it was placed in such a way that a siphon could have sufficed, even then the flow was not very good. I wanted a pump to replace the water in my aquarium. The switch was always a bit intermittent and after about eight uses it has given up completely. The rotor is turning but it is completely incapable of actually transferring water and has been binned.

Update: Eigentlich super, aber 30 Euro ist eine Frechheit. Ich habe 8 Euro inkl. Versand gezahlt.Super teil, benutze es für die Rennstrecke. Nun brauche ich kein Trichter mehr mitzuschleppen und muss die Kanister nicht mehr halten.Ich stelle meine 5 oder 20 Liter Kunststoffkanister auf den Fahrersitz und lasse nur noch die Pumpe arbeiten. Die Pumpe hat eine hohe Förderleistung. Bisher funktionierte alles tropfenrei. Ich werde wahrscheinlich noch eine kaufen.

No me ha gustado que trajera unas pequeñas instrucciones y que el fabricante o incluyese, todo lo necesario para, si uso, como pilas y adaptadores aunque fuera incrementando precio o la otra, opción es que lo indicase al adquirirlo. En cualquier caso es fácil de usar
