Sure, it wobbles on flat surface but it is also not going to jig about when working, so it isn't a concern at all. It doesn't create any humming sound but remains silent and quite efficient.Mine is an Insignia 32-inch full-HD 1080p TV from Canada and it needed 120V, 60 Hz, 1.2A. This one was the right Axvolt for me as it can support as long as the amperage required for target device is less than 2.4A.The plug is regular, so it didn't require the bigger 16A wall-socket but just the regular one, which too worked out quite well for me as where I have setup my little telly and music system, i have no 16A socket. Phew! And it looks cool too, just as one of those heavy duty solid yet elegant Soviet machines! I am a sucker for such vintage design! Mother Russia and cats rock! Yeah!Box says it has 350 Joules' surge protection and 10 KV spike current protection; that was a huge relief because based on listing page alone, i thought it doesn't offer any kind of surge protection for connected device. Eventhough it isn't as high a coverage as my Belkin 10-socket surge board (19000 Joules), for a stand-alone device, this would more than suffice. Besides, it is better to unplug TV and such appliances from electricity outlet during lightning and thunder.

This device works, is high quality & worth the cost.I had tried those cheaper (Rs 800 range) "1000W 220V to 110V" US-to-India adapter plugs and they're all scam - one of my US devices also stopped working after using with that adapter plug. Even my rice cooker didn't work thru the adapter plug.For any US appliances beyond simple heating devices like sandwich toaster etc, the only solution is to buy these expensive transformers like this one

Bought this over a month back for my coffee maker. It works well with the machine. Rating requirement was 1500W.Makes a small noise at the beginning (any other machine would too) and is pretty quite through the entire time.Con so far to say is pretty big in size. Nearly occupies as much table space as my machine.Would say is worth the money around 4k. Its mostly cos there's nothing else available with this rating around

TLDR for US-returned folks - Buy this (2000W) unit of this product and use your US-made household appliances without worry (hair straightener, coffee machine, massager etc).- Arrived on time, compact, solid build quality but not too heavy- Easy to plug-in (requires 16A socket) and attach your US-made (any appliances that require 110V AC) appliances to- Very Quiet, did not heat up at all after 30 min usage- 2 sockets, I could plug-in 2 appliances simultaneously- Dashboard shows the exact transformed voltage (eg 112 from the original 220V out of wall socket) for visual confirmation- Appliances worked correctly without damage. Bought a higher wattage unit (2000W) to cover all appliances including wife's hair straightener. Tip - Find max. wattage required by product and get a unit with 30% wattage above that just to be sure- Overall : a well made product (Made In India) at a very decent price point

I have purchase it for my tv.It's running smoothly with my tv,it's copper transformer gives best result, compact and good looking step down transformer.I recommended this make in india product.

Worst Customer service - Faulty product - no proper response from Customer care even after repeated follow-ups. I bought "AXVOLT Crysta 2000W Step Down transformer 220v to 110v Voltage Converter for US Appliances Used in India" and it did not work. I was directed to register a complaint on their website - but the link said "the owner has removed the form". I tried contacting the number mentioned on 18th Nov. Luck was on my side - someone picked up and said he is outside and asked me to call later. So I sent the details on WA message. I tried calling multiple times from Nov 19th till Jan 5th - but no response at all. On Jan 5th, the person picked up and asked me send pictures of the product, model details, invoice copy and the product that I'm trying to use it with, so that he can send to his technical team. He said he will get back in 2 days. From Jan 7th - no response to call. On Jan 27th, picked up again and asked for same details. Pointed to the details messaged previously. He said will check with Technical team and get back. No response till now. How can a company rely on a single person as customer care - who doesn't respond. Is that even customer care?

Its now more than a month since I started using this converter and am happy that it is performing well. I am not sure as to why this cannot be produced cheaper so that there will be many takers. Overall the function of these kind of electronic and electrical equipment as they always say is good service. But as the saying goes, " Demand is a function of quality with affordability." This product is good in quality and serves the purpose well so far and comes with good warranty also, however I am skeptical regarding affordability. Hope the company will start to rethink from the first principles to make it more affordable and that will be a great trigger to higher markets.

Bought this step down converter around 10 days ago and so for it’s working great for 58 inch TV bought at USA. And they have given one year extended warranty (total two years). Customer support seems to be good at this stage where response is kind & quick over WhatsApp.Only thing is, it was mentioned in product description that wall mount accessories are given but it was missing in the package.
