I use this to compost cardboard
Works great for slicing and dicing boxes

It's very good for working with cardboard. You don't need to apply much force to cut the cardboard.

LOUD!!!
Once I figured out how to turn them on by depressing the little blue button on the top with my thumb whilst depressing the bottom trigger, they worked well. (Nothing in the accompanying booklet describes actual use of the tool). They are making fast, easy work of cutting fleece, which is what I got them for. BUT BEWARE, they are really LOUD! You might think that you’re running a loud shop tool rather than an electric scissor. I rate them a 4 because, for their price, they work well for cutting bulky fabric. But I’d give them a 1 for noise.

the favorite holiday gift
I bought these electric scissors as a gift for my husband and my dad, and I thought that this would be a "meh, whatever" gift..... This gift became THE FAVORITE gift of the holiday season. My husband and my dad have been finding ANY reason to use these scissors. While these scissors do have a safety feature, I would recommend using these scissors with some caution, just because they can really cut something up.

Wow! My arthritic hands LOVE these!
Whether I'm cutting a lightweight knit, fleece, or denim, my hands are so glad to have these! It takes a little coordination to get everything moving - two buttons have to be pressed simultaneously - but they slide through the fabric like a hot knife through BUTTAH!!!
