Keeping our fingers crossed - Use the App and save yourself headaches
This isn't quite like a normal access point. The Festa app - which I tried to avoid using - is what is used to configure the device. It is simple to configure when I stopped fighting the problem and simply added the app and entered by ssid etc., which I would have done simply through a traditional IU. Once past that, the device is strong and very stable. The signal is very robust. We were using the non-Festa poe outdoor 1800 speed Tp-Link access point, but this one is proving to be faster and very stable. I hope this can handle the desert sun year round. The previous Tp-Link 1800 lasted roughly 3 years and it lived through 2 hurricanes.

My new favorite AP!
These are my new favorite access points. The access point comes with a power supply. I typically install them I PoE settings. Setup is so simple. Download the app to your phone. Power on the AP. The app will detect the AP. Select and configure the AP. Repeat for each additional access point. Done! I’ve walked installations with a scanner and roaming to the next AP is seamless.

Works well as a Twisted Pair extension for my WiFi
I have many devices using WiFi in the house, such as Outside Cameras, Alexa's, Remote light switches, Printers and such. This has solved my communication needs.

Good, not great. 4 out of 5 units ordered worked.
Good product, works well, easy to install, delivery fine. I am giving 4 stars because I ordered 5 units and only 4 worked.

Not Working as Expected and Support Unresponsive
Purchased this to replace a 5-year old Ubiquiti PRO AP for our home since did not feel Ubiquiti PRO was working as good as it used to. Also, wanted some of the upgraded features. Was getting frustrated though with Ubiquiti there management console is too complex.Used the Festa Web App for setup and it found the device easily. Seemed to step thru the process of setup easily. Then loaded the Android Festa app to verify settings. One thing important was roaming. Wanted to use the same SSID as my wireless router in the front of our home. This worked well with Ubiquiti.Even though the configuration shows the SSID I programmed in the AX3000 tis still broadcasting the same factory SSID. It did accept the password and range looks better than my Ubiquiti PRO. Also noticed from the Android App there is a setting to turn off the blue light but this does not work.Attempted to contact live chat. Said I was 2nd in queue but there has not been any response in nearly 2-hours.Likely going to return this due to lack of support. Maybe I could live with other deficiencies but my wife will not accept a blue light on the ceiling.Too bad, I like TP-Link and have quite a few of their dimmers and switches that are controlled via Kasa.
