Do you need a shelf?
This does exactly what I needed it to do. Don't expect it to hold anything super heavy but if you need a place to put some things close to your server rack, this is a great value.

It bends fairly easy.
It works, I received it 📦 packaged very well with minimal damage to the box/carton it was delivered in. When I took it out of the 2nd box it had a dent that would prevent the holes from lining up with my rack. So I started bending it sliding with my hands and that wasn't straightening the way it needed to be bent. So I grabbed my cresent wrench, tightened the wrench to the thickness of the panel and carefully aligned the bend as evenly as the other side. Afterwards it fitted perfectly as it should've in my rack. I don't know its weight capacity but I wouldn't put anything over 30lbs on it for safe measures.Other than that it does work well for what it is intended for.

Non-Standard Width
This is significantly more narrow than it should be. Does not fit in standard server racks/cabs

The rack is not the dimensions described and is very flimsy.
Marked as 17 and 3/4in, this doesn't seem like a big deal given that it's 17 and 1/4in. But, when you're trying to install a 17.5in wide L3 switch... it is.On top of this. It's super flimsy.

Quality self for my rack
This has really come in handy for my travel rack setup. Having the ability to have vents for my Mac Mini and Atem to operate while there is airflow to cool is amazing.
