Great 3D pen!
I bought three for gifts for this holiday (kids ages 10, 11 & 12). They lived the pens and have been playing daily since receiving. Per my 12 year old - said you have to use up all of one color before you can start a new strand, which he says is frustrating. But he said it's easy to use and the finger tip covers help protect from burning yourself.

Awesome for Creative Kids
I just gave this to my grandson yesterday for his 8th birthday. Needless to say he loves it. He made a fire truck for his younger brother. It’s perfect for his little engineering brain.

Easy to Use - Safe - Great
Got the pen not wanting to buy anything too complicated early on- I want the kids to move away from pads and smartphones and do something constructive/creative for change. The pen looks well made, it’s easy to use, has only one button, video at the bottom of this page was very useful. Kids have been using it for days, and fighting over it, absolutely no problems whatsoever…just make sure to pull out the excess filament once you are done, like in the video. Silicone finger guards are a nice bonus.

Don't use gold filament
The gold filament clogged the pen. It was too late to return. It is unusable.

Hard to work...waste of money.
I will reserve judgement. Perhaps I don't have the correct filament. ..We could not get the filament to feed into pen. Will recheck soon after I check filament size that I purchased.

Perfect gift for artistically inclined kids
This 3d pen works just as explained in the listing, it’s simple and easy to use and my grandson is creating really nice sculptures with it. From what I’ve seen the pen heats up really fast and filament flows out in a nice smooth way. Money well spent!
