I have been using it to hold up my curtains for the last 9 months with no issues, not once has it fallen or have had problems, its good quality, easy to adjust and remains sturdy even when fully extended.

I ordered this thinking was order larger size as have 7ft window but I must have made mistake as this pole is just over 5ft as maximum so I decided to put in my daughters room instead.The Pole is not very thick or heavy so I did worry may not hold the quite heavy blackout curtains but it is holding them fine.Was very easy to install you simply pull to desired length and place between 2 walls ( or inside window in my case) and the tension holds in place ‘like a shower curtain pole’.It feels really secure and is holding curtains fine even when she opens and closes there is no movement or sagging of pole.I do think maybe a support for middle of pole would be beneficial just to stop any chance of bowing over time and I’m look to buy hook to attach to wall and hold middle of pole securely.Overall I’m really happy with the pole looks nice and doing great job without all work of drill holes and screw pole in ( I will use screw in hook or double sided tape to attach support for middle of pole as not to hold weight as such just to stop any bowing over time).I can’t comment on price as unavailable at moment but as soon as back in stock I plan to purchase larger sized pole for my bedroom window

Used this pole to hang a door curtain and found it easy to fit and sturdy.

The media could not be loaded. You can't go wrong with this lightweight curtain rod. If you are lucky enough to have a wall that you can extend the rod to bear the weight of the curtains then this is a great option. If you already have drilled holes or the wall is too long to jam the rod between the walls, then this is still a good option, as it extends all the way to 2.5 meters.There is a lip on the end (like the end of a walking stick/frame/crutch) which stops the rod travelling backwards.The only downside is that for net type curtains with small hoops, this rod will be too thick and will not fit through the holes, but for heavier curtains it will be fine.

It is positive that it is very easy to install. However, it is not sturdy at all. I bought is as an extra rail for my wardrobe. I hung just a few clothes and it immediately fall down.

This is a really nifty rail which is much better than ones I have used previously. It’s really easy to fit, just take the shrink plastic off, and twist to fit. Marvellous. I fitted it first time with no problem and it feels sturdy and stays in place well.What surprised me about the rod was its thickness. I had thought as it was described as a rod that it would be thin enough to hang a net curtain on, but it’s much thicker than that, and it’s more suited to a shower curtain or tab topped curtains. I’m not sure it would work that well in a wardrobe, as it can only hold up to 3kg and the amount of clothes I have on my rails is much heavier than that! It would work in a utility room if you used it for hanging ironed clothes on for example. I have managed to use it for my net curtain as I’ve made a larger channel for the rod, but it won’t fit a standard channel that you find on net curtains.So well designed and great product overall. This is a super idea for when you need a curtain or clothes rail and cannot drill holes in the wall. We have used ours in the second bedroom to put up curtains and it fitted easily into the window recess and has done a super job ever since, holding up the curtains. It has never moved and the weight of the blackout curtain has never been an issue. I am very pleased with it.
