Not in 4k
So as hooking up the Playstation 5 to this card. Using a brand new 4k HDMI cable and finding out that this is displaying 1080p FHD. So with this I will only give 4 stars. It's a good card but it 4k this is not. Sadly.

3 Months Old - It Worked Great, Until It Didn't.
We've had this capture card for about 3 months. It was connected from a Canon M50 Mark II DSLR to an Alienware M15 R4, for my wife to use for her twitch channel, painting miniatures for D&D. It worked great at first, & did what it was supposed to, through OBS.It was only used for 2 hours on Tuesday, 2 hours on Thursday & 3.5 hours on Sunday, each week. We're talking less than 8 hours per week. Keeping that lightweight usage in mind, it's not like it was being stressed out & overheated. Last week, it started having glitches. A reboot got her back up & running. Unfortunately, today it started glitching & then totally died. No video signal whatsoever. In conclusion: You get what you pay for. Time to stop trying to find somewhere to save money on her setup & just buy an Avermedia capture card.

PERFECT Pairing With YoloBox Pro
10/1/22Folks, I am going to simply say this is worth the one-stop purchase it provides with true plug & play functions. Do NOT waste your time with the numerous cables/attachments advertised as being able to successfully convert HDMI via USB 3.0. I wasted time and money on attempting to use items as such with total failure. I finally landed on this...which is odd that it did not show up originally when I was performing my search!!!!In short, it works. I use the single HDMI out connection from YoloBox Pro to the converter (HDMI In). From there, I use the USB 3.0 cable and port on the converter to connect directly to my computer - works without a hiccup. There are no drivers that must be downloaded at all!!!When I connect to Zoom, the connection is recognized as a camera and I simply switch to the device as my camera source...all is wonderful.

Not 4k
Works perfectly with 1080p as mentioned by others. I knew this ahead of time and it didn’t change my purchase.

Does NOT output 4K video
Even though this item has "4K Ultra HD" written on it in giant letters, it is not capable of producing 4K video. It can accept 4K video as input, but its output only goes to 1080p. It even says so in the manual, but in small print. On the plus side, it's very easy to use with a Mac. No need to download third-party software or go through installations or any other strange things like with Windows and Linux. You just plug your HDMI source into this box, plug this box into your Mac, open QuickTime Player which is included on every Mac, and select File > New Movie Recording.
