Simple but effective cordless phone nice big buttons

Cheap good phone no bad points plugged into my router no problems

The phone is neat, the base unit is nice and small. The small screen is clear and the characters sharp. The voice sound is adequate. All as this unit is only intended as a voip phone on full fibre Broadband, it will barely, maybe never, used.It has very little functionality, no speaker, no answering. It does have a reasonable phone book.The one serious negative is the ring volume, it’s practically silent even on full volume. The handset is plugged into the Router next to the TV in our Living Room, the ringer is barely noticeable when the sound is on the TV. The ringer tones are squeaky and weak, all of the tones are similar.If your need is the same as mine, a cheap Full fibre WiFi handset that will be little-used, then at £19 it’s an excellent choice, If it’s intended for regular or long calls, I suggest a more expensive model would be better.

My Dad has alzheimers and is colour blind (some phones have red and green buttons without clear symbols) but he managed this phone really well, it has nice clear easy to press buttons & the cordless range seems good. We've now had to temporarily use a corded phone (through no fault of this phone) as my Dad has become obsessed with replacing batteries that are still OK, he keeps putting normal batteries in instead of rechargable ones, which isn't safe as they heat up. Hopefully we will be able to go back to this phone soon as it was much more convenient as I could get him to walk around the house to see what shopping he needs etc before visiting and also talk him through finding things, as he regularly can't find things like his cups & also tell him how to turn his heating on/off. This phone helped to keep him more independent than he is now he has a corded phone again.

This I bought for a bed-ridden and seriously ill friend so he could keep it on the bed with him. Held charge thro' the day OK and simple to connect and buttons were big enough for him to be able to decipher.(For those of younger generation this is effctively a '' housebound'' phone similar to the ones you walk about staring at in the street, walking into lamp posts etc. gazing at complete nonsense from people you have seen some 20 seconds previously )

This is a good phone to have, it's got a loud ring tone, big buttons and a clear display on the screen. I would highly recommend it
