HoneywellTwo Position Heater, Gray

I bought this brand for three reasons. First, safety is paramount and this has quite a few. Second, I wanted a heater that did not max out my outlet so there is less risk of power loss or potentially a fire. Third, I wanted manual control and not buttons because those commonly break. Manual controls also work with automated outlets.The Honeywell has a few super great features.The outlet cord is thick - thicker than it needs to be and is made out of a sleeker material. This makes it less likely that cord will "bind" or stick to itself.The heating element is deeply recessed inside the housing effectively preventing direct contact with almost all flammable materials.The item has two overheat shutdown options. There is a test on Youtube showing Honeywell shut down the quickest in an overheat test. If the first safety fails, the unit will cut current in a mechanical way once a certain temperature is reached at which point the unit is dead.The plastic is thick and insulates heat from the user very, very well. Very little risk of burning.The Bad:The fan is cheap and loud. Some of this is a limit of the design. However, better bearings from a higher quality exhaust fan would dampen the noise. This is obviously a cost so I can't blame them for not adding it. Overall, this unit is great and I would highly recommend it.

When I first bought one of these, my heating basically wasn't working in early spring and I desperately needed something to warm up my room. Now it's next year and I bought two more! With a heater in each bedroom, this space heater has significantly improved the overall comfort of my house while keeping bills lower than they've been before.I picked this heater over a ceramic heater due to concerns about radiation. I keep this one blowing on my feet and winter in the north has never been cozier!The last one I bought has been working for a year while being used almost consistently for months at a time, which is why I ended up buying more. It's reliable and uses very little electricity for how much heat it cranks out!

This is a nice space heater. I like that it can be set vertical or horizontal.What I don't like is that when on the lower heat setting, a section of the heater blows cold air so this setting feels luke warm (I took off 1 star for that) If temps are very low, the low heat setting will not do much to warm you. This mostly goes away if you put it on the high setting, but then the heater uses 500 watts more. I think low setting is 600 watts, high is 1100 watts. The fan setting is nice and blows air only. This is the 2nd one I have purchased.

We purchased this space heater to heat our living room during the winter. We keep our house at 68 degrees and turn on the space heater as needed. It is big enough to keep a living room at a comfortable temperature when it gets chilly. Due to it's size I wouldn't count on it heating up more than one living area, but for a bedroom or small living room like mine it's perfect. As far as I know, it doesn't have an thermostat for an automatic off, or a tip sensor.

Awesome item accept it didn't last long. I purchased in December 2023 and it stopped working September 2024 not even 10 months of usage.

As soon as you turn it on, it blows out heat you don’t have to wait it’s instantaneous it’s not for a big room its for a small room but it’s well worth the money. you get a lot of value for a small cost - I would definitely recommend it.

Enjoyed that it blows heat out!! And the heater is cool to the touch except where heat blows out - which makes it much safer for my little kitchen!!

Super awesome little heater. Heats a medium room. Love that it works bot standing on side. This is they second one I have purchased!
