Love this pedometer. I use it daily to monitor my progress.When I dropped my old one on cement and broke it, I added a lanyard to it. It gives me a cord to hang onto when changing clothes at the swimming pool.I've had this one for several years now, and have never replaced the battery. Great value for such a dependable device.

Not accurate, did over 3000 steps and it showed a little over 500 the last time I used it, various readings on other walks but basically the same short readings. Somewhat difficult but it can be programmed, just have patience. Nice size and does everything that I wanted. Will have to try again, this is the 3rd brand I have tried and all have been too much or too little in the step department. Just didn't want to spend hundreds to check steps.

I often wear a pedometer that counts my steps, in oder to get more exercise. When I can see how many steps I've taken, and have some kind of goal (such as 10,000 per day, which I rarely manage), it helps motivate me to walk more.I have used four other pedometers, and tried others in stores. The big problem with almost all of them is that they count any kind of vibration. So if you want to count your steps throughout the day, and you are running errands in your car, the pedometer is useless - because the vibration of the car counts just like steps! And none of the darn things have a "pause" button so you can turn it off while you are traveling in a vehicle.The Treklinq is not perfect in this regard, but it's a lot better than the others. It has a circuit that only counts steps when they are part of a sequence of at least five similar steps - so road bumps and random vibrations when you are driving tend not to get counted.I would give it five stars if it were more strongly built. I find that the hinged cover sometimes comes off its hinges and you have to snap it back on. And the plastic belt clips can break. Nevertheless, this product functions so well compared with other brands that it's the only one I want to use - I am willing to replace it when it breaks, which happens every year or two on the average.If you want to count your steps throughout the day, I believe this is the best product on the market.

Really nice pedometer, especially for the price! Quite accurate, if you measure your stride correctly. Has the ability to record in kilometers or miles, which is nice unless you think you've walked 3 miles but you've only walked 3 kilometers :-)

The Trekling Pedometer was very easy to progam and has worked just fine right from day one. It's good to know how many miles I walk every day.

This pedometer is very accurate (step count) and the battery (factory installed--2nd one was included in the package) seems to be holding a charge very well.The only minor issue is opening the case, especially the first few times to reach the control buttons; it's very tight and I have to be careful when opening it because I don't want it to crack. It does seem to be loosening up a bit after several uses, but still tight.Otherwise, I'm pleased with it and would order it again or recommend it to a friend.

Easy to use. Stays in place unless you are jumping up and down at a Chief's game. Sets up easily.

I use this pedometer to keep track of the calories I burn. I just wish that manufacturers wouldn't make these digital items so hard to program. Who keeps the tiny instruction page for long?
