KEEN Rivington MJ CNX Shoe (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

My daughter loves these shoes and so do I. They are comfortable and perfect for the playground at school. It is true that you will see strings all over the shoes if they get worn on a daily basis. My daughter wears them to school almost every day and plays hard, so I saw the strings almost immediately. However, that doesn't take away the cuteness or durability of the shoes. It is more of a cosmetic thing. If you don't like that "worn" look, don't get these. But if your child is outside a lot and you don't mind the strings, go for it. I am getting a second pair in a different color (we have the purple ones -- very cute!).

I have the women's version and love them, and now my daughter has her own. Love them, they are cute but comfy, stay on and are easy for her to get on herself!

Love the shoe but was too wide in the "toe box" for my daughter. However, length fit well.

I looked to purchase specifically from Keen as I have been very pleased with Keen's durability and quality in the past. While the shoes fit well, the loosely woven canvas on the toe has, within the first two weeks, started to come unraveled from at the stitching. The layer under the canvas does not go all the way to the rubber toe so both shoes now have holes at the seem.

Fit my daughter a little larger than we expected so she didn't wear them right away, but now she can. They are a little wide on her, but she is a petite, small framed girl. I would expect these would fit an average sized child very well. They are very pretty in color, and very comfortable.

Very well-made pair of shoes. Perfect for the coming summer. Little toes are protected by the thick rubber sole and toe tip yet still lightweight. Keen shoes never fail to impress me with their quality. My child outgrows them and still the shoes have a tone of life left. Perfect for hand-me-downs. Higher priced but it is worth it esp. If you have other kids who will also potentially inherit and wear them.

I love KEENS! My daughter is six years old and between a size 13 and a 1 in shoes. We have to go to the store for every other brand of shoe. It is great to be able to trust the sizing in these. I also really appreciate how pretty, yet rough and tumble KEENS are. I have a skirt-wearing wild child- so they let her be a well coiffed tomboy. I can't write about the fraying issue I saw in the reviews. As long as they are structurally sound- I don't think looking worn will be an issue for us. The shoes look pretty shabby chic to start with...
