This unit is very smart and capable. Its obviously underpriced for the level of German design excellence and simplicity showcased to the user.Read the specs. For anything in this 12vdc current range - it is surperior and yet its cost is under $15.It is a well designed masterpiece for its market niche. Not only does it maintain a longer battery’s lifespan by smart charging, but it communicates all aspects and modes to the user at a glance - through a very simple, yet modern and intelligent display.This is worth buying - one for every 12 volt battery you own or utilize. I highly recommend it without hesitation.

Amazon wants a review so here it goes .As for as I can tell it's working fine its really to quick for a true review but Amazon wants me to review It. Would need at least 6 months to a year to give a truly honest opinion but out of the box it seems well built and charges well.

Original Post: For the price I paid it's alright but the one real negative factor is that it is really hard to see the display, way way too dim. Otherwise, seems to work as advertised.Revised Follow-up: In this day, unbelievable customer service. I simply complained about one negative on my charger for others to be aware of, and didn’t want a thing in return. CS contacted me immediately and stayed in touch regularly until they found a solution. At no cost to me at all they shipped, free of charge, a new replacement. Wow! What a great service. They are to be commended. Thank you!

best trickle charger I've ever had so far. it says 1.5 amp but on depleted battery was doing 2 amps. great design shoving voltage and current on LCD.

I would normally give this product a 5 star review because: 1. Has cord instead of being a wall wort. 2. Has digital display with lots of information. 3. Has multiple stages of charging. 4. Properly maintains a maintenance voltage and does increase charging if battery starts to drain again. 5. Very reasonable price for all the above features.The fails: The extra battery lead with ring terminals (for direct connection) does not have polarity markings and has VERY small, 4mm ring terminals which are WAY to small for 6mm motorcycle battery bolts or larger bolts used for others such as car or lawn tractor battery. Which is NOT good because: I do intend to use on motorcycle, lawnmower and generator batteries AND this charger does have its own proprietary connector so is not interchangeable with connectors already installed on all the above equipment.Also: The digital display back light is not very bright and display difficult to see even under direct lighting due to very dark tinted lens.Kindest regards; Scorch.

Pretty nice charger for $20, gets a little warm but that's completely normal for a compact charger, cheaper ones anyway. Only had it for a week so idk how it will stand the test of time but it does exactly what it says and looks fairly nice.

Al principio creí que no servía, pero me di cuenta que si la batería está descargada totalmente, ni si quiere prende o hace la lucha por cargarla. Simplemente no trabaja. No lo recomiendo.
