It's pretty decent for what it is at it's price point. The little one (4 yr old girl) loves it. Loads of retro games in a small portable package. She absolutely love it, until last week. The screen started flickering non-stop. It's a good thing she's not photosensitive or she would have had a seizure. If it's not something the seller will address, I'll just pony up and buy her a better one. I'm on the fence about recommending it.**UPDATE**About a day following posting my original review, I was contacted by the seller. They offered to send a replacement device. I agreed and about a week later I received it as promised. Hopefully it'll do better than the first, but I'm adjusting my rating from 3 to 4 stars on the merit of excellent customer service. I’ve had this for a few months and it’s still going strong. It was intended for me, but my six year old has basically commandeered it which is ok because it keeps him occupied in the car. My two year old also pretends to play. It’s been thrown around, stepped on, chewed on, and still works. It only has a few games on it that I like to play, but that’s enough. My only grievances are that the screen color for mine is a bit off (compared to my nephews) and it can be hard to see some games, the games text is in Japanese so I can’t read it, and the buttons can be loud if I’m trying to play next to my sleeping wife.

Throw this in your purse and has sooo many games easily keeps grumpy kids occupied anywhere. One of the best things that we took on our vacation and gave me much needed break from hearing I'm bored on my vacation

Good for the price. Don’t expect much…

This got us across country with our little one. Over 100 games but some were violent games. The small pixels make the violence less noticable but I wouldn't recommend leaving kids alone with this.

After spending an obscene amount of money on our kids for 10 years, my husband and I agree that this is the best purchase we’ve ever made. We have 3 boys, ages 10 and 7 year old twins, and they all love this thing. It’s great for road trips and we love that our kids are learning how to play the OG Mario Bros!

Unfortunately this toy didn’t last long. My son was pretty upset as he loves this kind of video games

Nice little game with all the old school games that I knew back in the day and hooks up to a TV and it will be just like the arcade no problems yet !

this will be gifted to our son in about 2 days for his bday--i put batteries in it and took a look at it--tons of games yes--there are a few mario games to i tried one --controls are different but itll take a kids prob 5 mins to catch on to that--i think he will love it a great find--just very SMALL--hence the price with all the games and if it stays working for a long time then it will be a excellent buy--thanks --wish it was rechargeable--volume on it is great very loud it can be turned up or down. we got orange --its nice color--says you can plug into a tv for a bigger screen- havent tried it yet but we will once he opens it..i tried to play a 2 player game on mario doesnt let you so im wondering if i bought another one can we play 2 player??? I DONNO LOL--assuming no but i will ask..again love it thanks.

Purchased for my 4 yr old for Christmas as a "bathroom game" haha it travels with him everywhere. There are so many different games, he just plays Super Mario but it's a great little console for the cost!Even the adults steal it to use it all the time!**editing my review to note that the screen has stopped working and the toy is now garbage. Lasted 2 months but was fun while it lasted.

Bought these for my video game loving grandkids aged 4 & 6. I leave them in the car for them. While i am not sure how well they play, the kids are happy with them and the music and graphics keep them entertained. I know there is a super mario game they play a lot
