Third time ordering this product. Lasts 1-2 years, as the plastic sets in the sun and becomes brittle and cracks when you then move it to pack it away for the winter. Guess many would do the same.

Would be 5 stars but I didn't see that the metal rod was poking out near the end of the tube and I ended up slicing my finger on it while connecting it to the aircon.

Bought the clockwise version of this hose to replace a damaged hose on a 10-year-old Homebase TC-8061 airconditioner. It arrived today and I was delighted to find that it fits the unit perfectly, so rest assured if you have the same model, it will fit your A/C unit.Reason for the replacement is that the original plastic hose (that came with the unit) has finally begun to disintegrate, presumably the result of heat damage, age etc, so we needed a replacement ASAP.I spent some time researching hoses to make sure I got the right size, the right sturdiness and the right orientation and the new hose fits the unit like a glove and is nice and sturdy too.More expensive than I was expecting, but in this case it definitely looks like you are getting what you pay for, because it looks super sturdy in comparison to the cheap hoses.

I picked this up because the hose that came with my my Costway FP101117GB unit wasn't long enough to reach the top of my window. This fit the plastic adapters from my unit perfectly and allows me to (just) reach the top window.It's very rigid and clearly made from good materials, in fact it arguably feels sturdier than the hose that came with the unit.

The hose that came with my Probreeze portable airconditioner is too short (150cm). I wanted to vent through the top hinged window in my room, it wasn't long enough to reach the window. So I bought this hose and it does indeed fit the fittings on my aircon, so it works. I recommend buying this hose if you have a Probreeze aircon. I wonder why Probreeze don't include long enough hoses.

I needed a spare hose, due to my own measurements I didn't quite get the correct size, I duct tapped the hose to my air-conditioning, however, the 2M length hose is great and it's not flimsy like other ones so won't break unless it's abused. Ideal

A bit too sturdy although I kept it. For a hose for me it should be a tad more flexible but not flimsy as the others in the market.
