Used it to join two sewage pump discharge pipes. Could not afford a leak. Worked flawless. Use the correct joint cement for abs pipe

Ran over the inspection port for my sewer system with the lawn mower. I got the cap and needed the coupling to attach the port to the pipe in the ground. Worked like a charm.

Good quality. The actual dimensions for the 3" are 3 1/2" diameter on the inside (I.D.), 4" outside (O.D.) and 3 3/16" long.For the confused reviewers, this is a coupling meant to go on the outside of a 3" pipe, which would be 3 1/2" on the outside (O.D.) and 3" inside (I.D.)

what can be said about a black ring of plastic? It is doing a fine job of holding 2 abs section of pipe together. I'm just glad I could find it, because all the trailers in this neck of the woods are gone.

Fitted perfectly

I ordered 2 inch couplings. Look at the pictures. On what planet is that a 2 inch coupling? It's even labeled as 2 inch; even the embossed stamping in the plastic says 2"! But it is NOT 2 inches! They didn't just accidentally grab the wrong part - they literally manufactured it wrong. It's only a dollar, so I won't bother with a return. If I could get the week of tolerating a smelly leak under my RV back - I'd happily accept that. All week I dealt with the smell of leaking gray water under my RV and kept telling myself, "just a little longer; the part is coming.." Then it finally gets here, and it's as wrong as wrong can be! Come on, people! Really? It's a little piece of plastic! How hard is that??
