I finally purchased a new vehicle and after two weeks of owning I noticed there was mud smudges on the footrest of the OEM carpet mats. My old car had rubber mats and I changed them out depending on the season. I wanted something easy to clean and that would allow me to go places like the beach and not have to worry about ground in gunk and sand, but I couldn't decide on OEM weather mats or one of the expensive off market brands. I somehow found the maxspyder in a search and was skeptical, because it does not look like rubber. Well I'm glad I settled on this mat, because this can be a good year round option, which is easy to clean, but looks decent like a factory rug without the rugged look of rubber. Also, I like how it has the middle backseat footrest covered. With kids and pets sliding around, it's protected. I think these are better than the OEM carpet mats, and those were thrown in free. But if they weren't I wouldn't bother with those and just skip straight to these mats. I was a little worried at first because these actually are bigger on the driver's side, and go up under the brake pedal. So far it hasn't been a safety issue while driving and I guess it protects more area.

Easy to clean and great value for your money. Clean lines and fits very snug in the RAV4. Would highly recommend.

I love mine. The only thing is the driver’s mat don’t fit over the original mat because of the lock. It’s not a big issue for me. I stored the original mat somewhere safe.
