This is a good mandolin. It's sharp and easy to use. Good that it comes with a pair of gloves, it is sharp!

I just received this kitchen tool and have used it several times. I cannot speak to its sturdiness. The build quality seems adequate but nothing to brag about.The angled bladed made quick (really quick) and nearly effortless work of shredding a head of green cabbage in 1/16 " slices, thin-slicing several bags or radishes and a pound of carrots. I cleaned it just as easily, folded it up and slipped it into a small space in a cabinet. OOH! I comes with a pair of cut-proof gloves whiich I used!

This thing is DANGEROUS if not used correctly! Use the glove provided, and use the veggie gripper tool, so that your hands, fingers, knuckles aren't in harms way! Now that my PSA is over, holy cow does this work well! It is super sharp and cuts effortlessly. There is a center welded tac nail that sometimes creates a minor snag on your veggie (or fruit), so that's why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, I am super impressed with this machine for the price. Adjusting is easy, and the cuts are consistent.

Slicing vegetables

First use, good experience, adjustable slicing thickness was the feature I was after.Performance was excellence, I was proud of my purchase. Cleaning was easy, reinstalling the knife shaft was not simple. I consider the mounting of the knife shaft to be a poor design, lousy design; it renders the product useless.I would have returned the product, but I damaged it trying to install the knife shaft. I gave it 3 stars because it is possible the problem was the operator.

This is an awful product. Not user friendly and the instructions for use are not useful. The blade doesn’t lie flat so one side slices thicker than other. No photos. The material is not sturdy either. Does include a pair of gloves and a cleaning brush. Not very efficient for uniform slices sinc one side of blade is higher than the other.

This slicer is highly over priced for its three features. It does work very well for the short time I used it. I have used other slicers that cost less than half the price of this one and do an equally fine job. Appears to be made very flimsy and I don’t expect it will last very long.

Order coming today with out prush & gloves why? Need it important

An utterly misleading picture. I just received my mandolins and there are no safety gloves included. I have barely got the slicer out of its box but already I am extremely disappointed.

Shortly before I finished up using it to slice up some potatoes (which didn't seem to hold a consistent thickness), I was stupid and tried to clear a jam by pushing the potato through the blade with my thumb. I didn't expect the blade to be so sharp... My advice: never use without the gloves that are included. If you don't follow this first piece of advice, keep pressure on the cut and the base of the finger to cut off the blood supply if you can. Avoid ibuprofen for the pain as it thins the blood and can worsen the bleeding.

Very sharp device, didn’t reach the size I was wishing upon to make FRESH POTATO CHIPS, however it’s very good for slicing. One of cons: when veg is coming smaller in size due slicing, needles of safety holder that stuck / inserted into veg/potato wouldn’t tolerate finish slicing all of veg. Piece, then u must take it out and try to slice it using HAND, which is very hazard as device is very SHARP, u must be CAUTIOUS ! Didn’t try for julienne cuts yet.
