As noted by others it doesn't have the carrying case or car adapter. Fortunately I had the accessories left over from a DVD player that I broke the screen on during a house move(The Pyle that is actually in the pictures)The main selling point for me, was the SD/USB ports; I prefer to use an SD card or thumb drive. They're more durable, often store more than a DVD, draw less battery power, and take up less space.I immediately ran into problems with this device. The videos I had ripped previously wouldn't play at all. I started ripping new copies of the content but soon found the device extremely sensitive to the audio & video encoding. Chose the wrong sample rate and codec on either and you get only video or nothing at all. Since the manual is so basic, it took me about six hours of trial and error to find a combination that worked. Strangely, it was a true combo of audio & video. I used the exact same mp3 encoder & settings with two video codecs, but only one of them worked. Because of it being so finicky I ended up having to search for a free video encoder that offered a wider range and full control of the encoding.The ONLY settings I have found to work so far (which sadly takes longer to encode too) is xvid video codec, with lame mp3Video file container: AVIVideo Bitrate: 192KbpsAudio Resample: 16KhzAudio bit-depth: 16-bitAudio Rate mode: ABRAudio Bitrate: 128KbpsOverall I like the device and see it getting used plenty. Audio is good and loud unlike my previous Pyle system. It works perfectly with the Pyle carrying case after swiveling the screen (seatback mode). Just annoying that the support is so thin and documentation so poor.If you know what to expect ahead of time though, you won't find a more feature rich portable player for the price!

I love using it, it's light and easy to take anywhere.Charges pretty quickly when not in use.Sound is not bad, speakers are not that loud but the sound is clear.Its cool that I can rotate the screen, can be very useful sometimes.Cons: battery life is only a little less than 2 hours, and there's no warning for when the battery gets low. So sometimes I'll use it and really get a into a movie but I forget to charge and it will die out of nowhere right at the climax of a show or movie. :[The charger length is pretty small, wish it were a bit longer.Can't change the brightness of the screen, which sucks when I'm using it in the dark. I always have to turn the screen away from my eyes a bit since the brightness bothers me.

It arrived early and is a decent player...one probelem is that it does not come with any of the accssories that are in the description...the one we really needed was the car adapter and can't find a replacement for it anywhere...they did refund the cost of the adapter...I averagaed a price of ten dollars...I just hope I can find one, if anyone knows of somewhere that carries a 1 amp adapter, please post it here...just wanted you all to know that if you are considering buying this nice little player be prepared to not get the accessories.

In order to play digital movies on it you have to convert them to the right codec which is in no may mentioned anywhere. I eventually found it in a comment here on Amazon. I have since lost it, sadly. This was a big problem as most of my movies are digital copies so I find this to be an annoying inconvenience. Otherwise it works perfectly fine. We did have to replace the cord after a week or so of use. Luckily I keep any spare ones around and had one that fit 'in stock.'

I ordered this product for a family trip. I figured it would be great to entertain my kids on the flight. The minute I turned it on a white line across the screen appeared and it makes a very loud noise ( almost as if the disk were stuck ), thinking it was the actual movie I changed it and confirmed that in fact it was the actual device. I immediately contacted the seller about the issue. I received an email stating they would send a return receipt via email and have not received anything instead the CLOSED MY REQUEST TO RETURN THE ITEM !!! I was willing to give it a second try and have them ship another one before our trip and when I attempted to contact them a second time but they did not even answer my email. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HORRIBLE PRODUCT TO ANYONE. Do NOT waste your money on this product nor trust this company.

I purchased this DVD player for my daughter who does quite a bit of traveling and thought that this complete package would be perfect for her. When she received the DVD player, none of the accessories were included - Includes; vehicle power adapter, A/V cable, carrying bag, remote control, stereo earphonesPlayer seems to function OK but very disappointed about the missing accessories. I read some of the reviews before I purchased and some did mention that they had the same problem so unfortunately this looks like a consistent issue.

I liked the item, but my only issue with it is that the battery life is only two hours. I brought it to keeps my two grands intertained when we took a 15 hour car trip. It is convienent in your hotel when plugged in. You can watch what you want on TV and I played their kids videos while I did the TV scene.

i loved everything bout this player :) it took me a little bit to figure most of the thigns out on it.. the only thing i am havn questions bout the extra wires that came with it.. and also when recharging it..
