First Pull
I put this on my friend’s blower Ryobi RY08510. The original carburetor had part markings “walbro WYC 3-508”. My friend said it now starts on first pull. He credits his Hungarian heritage and gym membership but I credit the quality of this carburetor.I considered replacing the gaskets/diaphragms in the original carburetor but the little piece of rubber in the main jet check valve looked bad so the new carb was our best bet.

Worked on my Ryobi RY08510 Blower
I tried several carbs for this blower. Either they didn't work from the start or worked for a while and no amount of tinkering would get them to work. I finally saw this at a good price. Once installed, the blower started on the second pull. I had to adjust the "H" side about 1/4 turn. If you don't know, there's a tiny set screw on the top center of the carb. It's recessed and blocked by a plastic grommet. Remove the grommet - had to use a pointed tool to remove it - put it back later. Using a small jeweler screw driver adjust the high revs, a little goes a long ways.Updated 10 Nov 24: I goofed originally and put the wrong equipment in the "headline". This is for a RY08510 blower. This carb worked great until It was past return date. Now I can't get it to reach WOT without bogging. Checked spark, compression (125), cylinder looks good, tried several spark plugs, appeared it was running lean, adjusted "Hi" revs and it worked for 1.5 days then back to bogging down. Thought it had gotten dirty so dismantled it and found pump diaphragm damaged, sucked inward, not flat and the metering diaphragm puffed on one side. Cleaned & replaced diaphragms but still getting the same results. Also, found supporting gaskets dry and hard-stuck to body. For now, I'm very disappointed but more tests and checks to come.

A bit pricey, but waaay less than a new blower purchase!
Dropped this into my elderly unstartable Ryobi 8510 blower in about 10 minutes… Now it starts first pull every time, idles smoothly, and runs full throttle…all without ANY adjustments. It’s pretty pricey compared to other gas yard tool carbs that I’ve replaced, but still WAAAY less expensive than purchasing a new unit. Runs like new again!;-)
