I should have bought this years ago! It prevents cat litter from getting all over the floor.My cat Juliette is a digger. When she goes to the bathroom - either outside or in the litter box - she first takes her right paw and starts digging. I think she is instinctively trying to get her insides moving. Then after she goes she digs again to cover it.Each time the cat litter flies over the side of the litter box and covers the floor. I’ve had to sweep around the litter box every day since the day she came home with me.Ever since I bought this litter box with walls, I have not had to sweep once!At first, I was worried Juliette would be afraid of the walls. But cats like privacy, right? Juliette went into the new litter box right away. I was afraid I was not going to be able to get the lid on, but it is easy.

Bought this for our foster mama cat because she kept going over the edge of the regular box and the poo would go on the floor. This ended that issue and bonus, it keeps the litter in the box more than more standard boxes. Sides are a bit more flexible than expected but once it snaps into place there hasn't been a problem. She is a smaller girl (about 7 lbs) so the box may be a bit tight for larger cats. Would buy it again.

I like the size..use for multi adult cats. My only criticism is that the top half does come off more than I'd like. However, when it stays on, it does keep the litter in the box, & off the floor. Made well.

The perfect letterbox for any occasion. Easy to assembly and lightweight. If you are looking for smell-free, I would focus on litter. I use unscented and I hardly smell anything out of it even with its open top. My 10 week kitties are using this perfectly. Not much kick back from pawing at litter due to sides. Gives them privacy without feeling trapped. I would recommend putting a small area rug just to catch that litter as they get out. Will be buying this again!

I live with a couple that has 2 cars. They put a litter box in my bathroom because the only other option was the living room. The cat started peeing over the side and kicking litter everywhere. No issue with either since I got it

It does it's job as a litter box but it's not a great one. The grooves in the bottom and sides make it really hard to scoop and clumps get stuck in those areas. It is on the smaller side as well compared to another litter box I have. I would also recommend a scoop with smaller holes so not as much falls through the scoop when cleaning the box.

Good, sturdy litter box. Our cat will not use a box with a top on it and I was tired of her getting litter everywhere. This was a great solution to the problem. The sides kept our medium-size cat from kicking litter out of the box while also not making her feel anxious/avoid using the box. We have had no issues with her making a mess or having an accident since purchasing.

This cat box is perfect for my larger kitty. It really cuts down on litter mess and since the top is open she isn’t cramped inside like with some of the totally enclosed boxes.
