Not all scoops are the same
I can't believe I'm writing a product review on an ice cream scoop - I mean it's an ice cream scoop for goodness sake what is there to say. Such is the boredom of the COVID lockdown. As a bit of an ice cream addict I've gone through a few scoops in my time as they don't seem to last long and bend or break when trying to scoop rock hard stuff straight from the freezer. I'm well pleased with this scoop. It's nice and sturdy and well balanced. Good value provided it outlasts previous scoops which I think it will. It doesn't have a trigger and I prefer that as that's usually the first thing to break. Came within a few days of ordering despite COVID.

Not dishwasher safe!
This is a great ice cream scoop! I do really like it... but.... I’m gutted the description said it was dishwasher safe and after one wash the handle coating has come off and the wood is now bare and therefore tougher to the touch.

Description wrong
When i ordered this it was described as having a trigger, it doesnt, also when i look at the description now of this product a picture comes up of a pack of 3 ice cream scoops with triggers so the wrong description or picture was used for this. Im sure it works fine and really cant be arsed to get a replacement but just a bit annoying.
