Too Small for CQB

I used an ACOG in Afghanistan and loved it, but the 4x magnification was too much for targets closer than 50 meters. I thought this optic would be the answer. Big mistake. The ocular lens is tiny. It's like looking through a 1.5 power microscope. I can't believe I fell for all the hype from You Tube gun "experts" about this optic. How can any expert claim this is better for CQB than an Aimpoint? If you insist on having the lightest, smallest , most durable and maintenance-free aiming device for an AR-15, you would be better-off with quality iron sites.
