A very good read. It explains how we should think about micro-services. It trains our brain to think in right direction.

When I started this book, I thought it would help me reinforce some of my learnings but this has been an eye opener.It forces you to think from a different perspective and most importantly it has examples for each and every thing taught.

I have read the 1st four chapters of this book.This book is very useful to understand the concepts of microservices architecture, ways for decomposition of monolithic apps, when to go for microservice, usages, design tips etc with example use cases and diagrams.Subsequent lessons on implementation build deployment etc I'm yet to go through...but book is worth the purchase.

First of all,this book is not at all for beginners.I have 9 years of experience in IT with range of technologies and domain.I had ordered multiple books related to the application architecture and system design to take my skill at next level.I chose this book after lot of research, recommendation.Also I read first 2 3 chapters from its soft copy and then decided to have a hard copy of it.Trust me, it will give you a new way of thinking about the design of microservice based applications.All the different apsects have been discussed with lot of example and their pro and cons.You won't regret after purchasing this book.

This book discusses various issues with microservices implementations that will give insight about how you can think of designing microservices.

Must read for anyone planning to work on (knowking what they are) microservice this is the resource to start.A huge source of information.Very simple writing and easy to understand.So many topics covered, not just the Microservices.Author: Sam has a unique way of providing information, which makes understaning the concept very easy -Thanks.

The media could not be loaded. Read through couple of chapters. Could not find required codes for practicingProblem: Pages are missing b/w chapter 9 and 10 [Page no. 297 to 329]. Please check the video.

I think it is priced too high. It is printed in grayscale and doesn't have glossy pages. That's what I expected for paying that much money.
