I’m not very technical, but it was easy to install and set up the light bulbs. I also connected to my Amazon Alexa. I love being able to turn lights while I’m away from home or sitting at home in my chair. Being able to dim the light is a plus. I did have to name my “hall” lights “corridor “ lights because Alexa turned on “all” lights if I said turn on Hall lights. I will add more Hue lights to our home.

It’s a little misleading cause it says it supports Apple HomeKit and it does BUT you have to buy their $45 bridge attachment. This is because Apple requires strong security that Phillips doesn’t provide without the bridge. With the bridge it addressed the security vulnerabilities and is compatible with HomeKit.
