Great mat
I bought this because it was Amazon’s Choice mainly and because it is similar to the Cloudbase mat I was going to buy from a different retailer at twice this price. I have sent the other one back because they are virtually the same in every way but much better value. I’m 5ft 10” and it’s a good fit for me with a little room still left at the bottom of the bed. There is a pillow attached to the top so there’s no need on taking an extra one which makes my pack lighter. The air is evenly distributed throughout the mat and it is very comfortable to sit on as well as lie on, especially when my sleeping bag is laid on top and my foil mat underneath. I do a lot of wild camping so this is great to carry around with it only being half a kilo in weight. It has a small pack down size too so it doesn’t take much room in your rucksack. If it lasts the tests of time I’ll definitely buy another for my camping partners. Highly recommend. Hopefully the review has helped you a little, can you please show some love with a helpful vote if it has?

A great budget pad
I used to use a closed-cell pad, then bought a self-inflating pad which seemed luxurious by comparison. Unfortunately, it was bulky and fairly heavy. A friend had one of these and I was impressed so I bought one too. It's even better than I expected, comfortable, warm (no R rating is specified but it's much better than my self-inflator) and half the weight. It folds/rolls down to a compact size too. I tend to use my sleeping bag as a quilt so I sleep directly on the mat surface and there was no annoying rubbery feeling or squeaky noises when I moved and it didn't feel cold on my skin. The only niggle is its stuff-sack only just fits so you really need to get all the air out when rolling it up. After using it 4 or 5 times now I seem to be getting the knack and it packed away easily this last time. The pillow is a nice-to-have but you can just tuck it underneath(uninflated) if you prefer to use your own. Inflating the mat takes quite a few big breaths but there is a one-way valve to ensure none of that air gets back out again. I did buy a cheap micro air-pump which helps but you still need to finish it off by mouth if you like a firm mattress.Overall this has been a great pad which I've now used on a variety of surfaces from flat grass to rocky heather, tussocky bog and pine-cone laden forest floor. The mat has smoothed it all ensuring a good nights sleep.EDIT: I’ve been using this for 3 years now and spend over 20 nights on it. It still works as good as new, I’ve never been cold and my only two issues are that the pillow could be half as thick again and that the surface is a bit slippery so it moves around on the tent floor. I might try smearing some builders silicone on one side to see if that helps…. But overall a great buy.

Slept well!
Love the beehive effect. Very cool and very comfortable. Was easy to inflate. Still working out the best way to deflate and fold so it fits back into the pouch neatly, our camp experience far too windy to perfect it on packup day. Highly recommend and friends preferred mine to what they have.

Quick and easy to inflate by blowing up manually and very comfortable
Bought it for my 14 year old grand daughter who was doing. 2 night Duke of Edinburgh award camp in very cold weather. The camping mat was easy to inflate and very comfortable to sleep on. Only used for 2 nights but has survived intact. Easy to deflate as well. Definitely an excellent purchase.

Not the best
Had only 2, 1 night outings with this product, initially looks very promising out of the bag, very compact, light weight and easy to inflate and a joy to hold.. that's about it on the second use it deflated 4 time during the night and wasn't the best experience I have searched throughout the product and there is no sign of puncture and where I have used it I wouldn't have expected it to puncture at all! on inspection the valve is in tact so I am at a loss as to why this product has failed, I have done the soapy water test to see if I can find escaping air and I am no wiser. I wish now I had gone with a better product as this clearly didn't work. Not sue if I can return it now as I have had it a while but maybe I just bought a dud and you will have a better experience.. would I buy again? definitely not

Comfy camping mattress
I am writing this review after using this mattress for a few days whilst camping in the Lake District. It was a fantastic mattress and so glad i purchased it. It's a nice size and i would say weighs just under 2kgs. It was fairly easy to blow up, just a couple of minutes puffing it up and it was there. It remained comfy each night and i only had to blow it up again occasionally. It's a bit fiddly folding it up and putting it back in it's pack, but i got there eventually. For the price i would say a really good mattress and worth getting. It just does enough to keep you off the ground, hence comfy and a bit warmer than the cold hard earth !
