It calls for a 150 watt bulb, and it gives off a very poor light and it's difficult to see in a very dark room. I am not doing a good job with this and it's a lot of trouble to do what I'm doing. Plus, it's plastic and can burn if left on too long, which is preposterous when you think about it. It certainly should be burn proof. It is the worst thing I've bought from Amazon, which is usually very good at everything. I tried to make it work, but it was awkward and didn't really do what I needed. The only thing i wish was I bought the model above this one because it projects bigger. Also this little guy gets really hot. You have a 20-30 minute work time before it should be shut down to cool off. I installed two computer fans to the side vents and made the slots a little bigger with a Dremmel.
