I thought people with fancy welders used expensive mixed gas and not cheap CO2 like me with my cheap welder. My advice, if you can't get your hose to attach, cut the end off and push it on the barbed connector, or buy an expensive regulator from a welding store. This flow gauge works, the adjustment is smooth and I have no leaks. It is exactly what I needed. I find the LPM measurements to be very easy to read as someone unfamiliar with the traditional uses (welding). Most issues have, in my experience, been user error: i.e, misplacing the small plastic washer intended to seal the connection between the regulator and the tank, inappropriate use of gas/thread tape [it is not needed on this part], failing to tighten the connection properly with hand tools, failing to level the piece before use [mistakenly tilted forwards or backwards] Looking closely at the different (and often differently priced!) listings for this item online, you will soon find that this is a case of drop-shipping and mass production!
