Over all, the cord is performing as expected.The base of the jack that connects to your headphones is slightly larger than the cord that came with my headphones (Sony WH-1000XM2) which prevents it from fully locking into the headphone jack.This could definitely be improved but won’t be an issue for everyone. They fit fine in my Beats.I was able to work around this with a small extension I had laying around.The small inconvenience is worth being able to use my noise cancelling headphones while playing Xbox rather than the cheap head phones I normally use.Customer service was very responsive and offered a refund, but I will keep these as some of the other manufacturers have potential to have the same problem and are more expensive.

I got this for my work since I'm taking calls all day and my AirPods Pro weren't practical for 8+ hours of continuous use and the built-in mics for most headphones (Beats Studio3) don't work that well.the jack into the headphones fit for a bit without trimming, since the rubber is pretty malleable, but I ended up trimming the side a bit so it could stay in without a hassle. it looks like this will be a common problem for most headphones, but its super easy to trim with a box cutter.as far as the audio quality through the mic, it is SUBSTANTIALLY better than the one built in on my beats. And this does include the foam windscreen cover that isn't shown in the product page.

I like this and I use it daily, a lot of times for conference calls, and sometimes for voice chat while gaming. The boom mic gets nice and close to my mouth, which means I can speak quieter and I can still be heard, and the windguard fits nicely, although it falls off constantly.The only issue I have with this model is when I'm gaming. Since sound is being transferred to my headphones via this cable as well, I've heard from friends that they can hear the sounds of my game through my mic input - which means that there lacks sufficient insulation between the two wires inside of the main cable. It's not a huge nuiscence, but something definitely worth noting here.

Connects perfectly with my Monoprice headset via the 3.5 mm mic jack. The mic boom sits perfectly to the side and picks up sound naturally. The cord length is just right and comfortably flexible. Volume control works really good. Converts any standard audio headphones with removable cable to a chat capable headphone. Great for gaming, Skype, online conference.

We have used this boom mic on a Xbox One and Nintendo switch so my kids can use regular headsets and talk with their friends.

This mic worked wonderfully for three weeks. Now the cord shorts out which causes my computer to shut off the port is connected to. I'll be in the middle of a conference call when all of a sudden I lose sound and nobody can hear me. It's basically useless to me now.

I've gone through two pretty quick because they aren't very durable or long lasting. Gonna try a different brand.
