**Q: Is this for a pair**
A: Yes it is a pair i bought these last year for a higher price and at this price they are a steal, fantastic pair off speakers.

**Q: How would this work out on a 50 watt per channel receiver?**
A: They are fine on 50 watt receivers and upwards, when I first purchased them I had them on a 45 watt receiver and they were great.
