### ⭐⭐⭐

Looks nice, but that's about it.

*by M*** on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 January 2016*

Really not for playing. The chord is too thick and too short. The beads inside leaked out on first play. The paint chipped off and eventually the shell shattered. At the end of the day these would look nice on the mantle piece but aren't the best for playing. All Kes-Kes, Asalato, Aslatua, Aslato, Patica, Thelevi, Kosika, Cas-Cas and Sympatika (whatever you're calling them this week) will eventually break from what I read. As far as playing experience I've found something with a thinner, tighter chord and exposed wood works much better as an instrument. This is not a seller review. It's just the product that is the problem...I've attached two pictures. One is this product and another is one that fits the style I've found best for playing. Search all of the terms I've listed above to find suitable alternatives. Hope this is useful.

    Not as advertised.

I didn't receive the ones as displayed. The ones I got were brown and boring looking. Also they look synthetic rather than like the real ones the Africans use.

### ⭐⭐⭐

    Colourful Cas Cas

Bright and Cheerful but sadly:1/. The beads inside the shakers had to be replaced because being far too small, they fell out of the string holes.2/. Shakers not really weighty enough to perform properly3/. Paint has started to chip off, so better left plain wood4/. One has started to come apart at the shaker ball joint area.
