Mens Vintage Tailcoat Jacket Goth Long Steampunk Formal Gothic Victorian Frock Coat Costume for Halloween

I ordered three of these in different colors. The blue and "white" (it's more creme than traditional white) were lined and actually very nice. The black coat was not lined and does feel cheap to some degree. However, the price point and what you do get regardless, is worth the money. Now on to size: I am 6'1", 205, broad shoulders, bigger chest, and wear 34/35 in sleeve length. I bought the XXL to be sure it fit and knew I could always have it tailored. It fits like a glove. The sleeves are a hint too long but that's the style I like. The buttons are a bit loose though I don't feel they will go anywhere anytime soon. All the pockets open and are useable.

I actually ended up buying the jacket in three different sizes just to see how they fit. I noticed some inconsistencies between the small size and the medium and large. The medium and large were the same, but the small was different. The small actually looks like what is pictured, but the medium and large had a liner and there was blue stitching where the small one has black stitching. Also the small was a brighter blue and the medium and large were a bit more muted. Lastly, the medium and large had elastic loops so the jacket could be buttoned. The small didn’t have that. I included pictures for reference. As far as how they fit, everyone said to order a size larger, but that wasn’t the case for me. I am a medium, and overall, the medium fit the best. However, the small fit the best in the arms. The medium was a little long in the arms. The small was also tailored slightly different, it was wider in the hip area, where the medium was more straight cut. In the end, I went with the medium because I actually really liked the liner (it was quite itchy without it) and I preferred the straighter cut. Overall it is a really nice jacket and I can’t wait to wear it for Halloween!

The black jacket looks great, and sizing was correct. This was for my son's Halloween costume, so honestly I'm not sure what the seams looked like upon arrival. But it looked true to the product images. However, my son wore it once and felt it needed washing before wearing again for the next Halloween activity a week later. I washed it alone in the washer on the handwash setting, and hung to dry. When I was hanging it, I noticed several spots along the seams of the back and shoulders where the fabric was fraying and creating small holes. Due to the nature of the fabric, sewing over these areas was going to just cause more fraying and separation. I used "Loctite Vinyl, Fabric & Plastic" glue to stop the fraying. In some areas I actually glued a piece of black fabric inside to further reduce stress across the seam. But, the glue has a strong smell and is not the easiest to work with. Not to mention I shouldn't have to fix a jacket (even being a costume) after one wear and a gentle wash! If you are planning to use this jacket more than once or twice, I would recommend doing something to prevent fraying along the seams before wearing. Glue along all the seams with the Loctite or another flexible glue. Or maybe line the entire back and shoulders with iron on interfacing to reduce the strain on the seams. Also, be sure to order big enough, because if you stress the seams trying to wear too small of a size, you're going to absolutely shred this thing!

Looked great. Comfortable. Used it to dress up as Aemond Targaryen. 5'5", 100lbs. Arms were a little long, but otherwise good fit.

These were purchased for a school show for high school students. We needed 22 black jackets in various sizes, the reviews were good, and they were all in stock so we decided that these would work fine for what we needed. Upon arrival of the first 22 that were ordered, 11 of them were either ripped, had holes in the seams, or in one case was covered in white makeup and clearly used. I sent those 11 back and ordered another 23 in the hopes that at least half of those would be usable since the show date was coming up fast. Jokes on me because the new batch of 23 only had 3 that did not have some sort of damage. So at the end of the day, after purchasing 55 jackets, only 14 were usable as they came. We ended up taking the *best* 8 of the damaged ones and mended them for use since we were out of time, and sent the rest back. The damage was pretty obvious, with large rips in the arms, down the back seams, and in the armpits. There were also multiple stains and obvious signs of use on many of them. Of the 55 ordered, two were fully lined and the rest were not. Those two were by far the best quality of the batch, and did not have any rips or issues. I would not recommend these jackets unless you're willing to bring out your sewing machine for mending before your event.

I am 6'1 200 pounds, I fit a large, I ordered an XL, and it was HUGE. it says to order 2 sizes bigger, I even ordered one size bigger and it was way too big. I would say to order multiple and return the ones that don't fit.

Terrible fit, quality and stitching

Total schlechte Qualität. Es war überall kaputt. Nähte waren nicht nur offen, sondern ausgerissen. Dünner Stoff. Ein Stern ist noch zu viel.

Tenía dudas y temor de la prensa tanto por la talla como la calidad de esta, ademas de las reseñas que había leído que la calidad era muy mala como de un disfraz barato, que no tenía forro, que los botones se caían etc. recibí una prenda muy hermosa de muy buena calidad se pueden abrochar los botones y las bolsas si son funcionales cosa que otras reseñas decían que no, pedí la talla 3x por miedo a que no me quedara, me quedo muy bien o incluso grande creo que la 2x me hubiera quedado perfectamente bien, (uso talla xl) estoy muy feliz con la compra (compro el de color rojo)
