Think more complicated cookie cutter where you remove all the dough vinyl from around the cut cookie piece. So these types of tools work with that. However tools like this help with other crafting too including wax and bead work and there are others. Hope this helps others who might be interested. But go to Youtube and put in weeding vinyl designs and you will soon see what the tools do and how they work.
