After 14 years of heavy use and five kids, it has finally cracked and I just ordered a new one. We love our blender on steroids. **Q: Does this kit include a new screw to hold it in place?** A: Kit includes drive socket, set screw and allen wrench. Basically everything you need. One word of caution the set screw is slanted at an upward angle just like the original and be sure to start the set screw first but not too far just a turn or 2. Also make sure the socket is seated completely I had to slightly tap mine in it kind of snaps in place. **Q: Does this fit 5200** A: This does not fit!!!!!!! And it is not returnable either- do not buy for your 5200!!!!! **Q: hello, does it fit for vm0122 model?** A: My model Vitamix is VM0103 and it did fit mine. I researched it every which way and read on some sites that it will work with my model while other sites said that it will not work. I took a chance since it was not too expensive. It took a lot of nerve on my part to finally try it out and use my machine but when I did I was very happy! ## Frequently Bought Together - Vitamix Drive Socket Kit , Metal - 891 - Vitamix Wet Blade Assembly, Silver - Joyparts Replacement Parts Retainer Nut and Blade Removal Tool Wrench,Compatible with Vitamix Blenders --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co/products/84362919-vitamix-drive-socket-kit](https://www.desertcart.co/products/84362919-vitamix-drive-socket-kit) --- *Product available on Desertcart Colombia* *Store origin: CO* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
