I love the anime as well. This is one of the greatest adult mangas of all time and I consider it and many others a masterpiece. I saw the anime first before I bought all of the volumes. There are 6 volumes if you want to know. The manga is better if you want more story and depth and the artwork is beautiful. You should be able to read through all six volumes in one day, no problem. There isn't much dialogue to read through so you can knock these volumes out with the quickness. Secondly, I knew the manga would show at the minimum 50% more than what the original video animation showed and I was VERY satisfied with the original story development and conclusion. Finally, I bought all 6 volumes and it was one of the best purchases I've ever made online. I highly recommended that you own this very unique and awesome manga collection that's easily a top 10 of all time in my opinion.
