All in, a purchase worth the price ### ⭐ Perfect pictures, horrible recipes *by F***S on Reviewed in the Netherlands on 12 April 2023* We have used this cook book for the last four months to cook various dishes. When following the recipes the results vary from bland to inedible. The recipes often miss ingredients in the listing of ingredients, or do not actually use the ingredients listed. Whole steps in the cooking process are often left out. In one of the curries potatoes need to be added at the end of the recipe, right before serving. Mind you, these potatoes were not cooked at any previous steps. We decided to stew the whole thing for a bit. The resulting curry was not edible at all. In another dish 200 grams of sugar are added to a curry resulting in a savoury dish that is sweeter than the average marshmallow. That was actually one of the better results, as we could just blend the whole thing, add a stock to it, dilute it to something more of the sweetness of a soup, and eat it as such. For this book, I would call that a success story. So would I recommend this book to any one? Not really. I do have a recommendation to the publisher though, in the next edition, just remove the text, and just publish the photos. They are lovely, and maybe if you are just likely to reverse engineer the dish from the picture as from the 'recipes.'
