I believe these are discontinued so I grabbed a second one before they're all gone. I love the ISP beetle logo and the thud rumble throw up on the cartridge mount. These are great for scratching, you have to dial in your settings just right on your tonearm. For me they do occasionally skip but im heavy handed. The audio will come in pretty loud, this might be a negative for some folks but for me i find that these needles sound really good with Traktor control vinyl. I used these and traktor pro3 recently and the sound was coming through quite nicely on some 12inch Electro Voice speakers. I had Ortofon Pro S before which are really nice and not known for having high volume output but for small gigs its good to have that extra output from your needle. I use these needles occasionally for sampling vinyl into Live 10, it does come in hot but works great once you adjust. I usually process my samples before using anyway. Review: Great DJ Stylus - This is a great DJ stylus for the price. I was replacing two Shure M447s because I like the way you can see Ortofon needles when you're looking down on them when placing the needles. Also, the Shure M447s gather a lot of dust and gunk when using them; moreso than needles of other brands. I'm a amateur DJ and these work great for mixing and scratching. I used standard vinyl and Serato DVS and it works amazingly for both. For analog vinyl the sound is loud and I don't have to turn my gain on each channel up as loud, and for DVS, the scope was nice and round as soon as I installed them. You can keep them at the standard 3.0g tracking force and they'll work great for scratching and backqueing. I'm very happy with these needles and think these will be my gotos for a while to come. I hope Ortofon continues to create replacement stylii for them, but if they don't Im gonna see if JICO makes a replacement for it after I finish writing this. Pick up a pair and I promise you won't be disappointed.
