Review: Bear expectations - The precision/fit of the shell and the quality of the membrane definitely exceeded my expectations based on the price. I can't speak on the durability yet. The color (gray) matches the images perfectly (I thought it was ugly but my nephew loved it). I expected the silicone membrane that overlays the buttons to cause them to become mushy, but surprisingly it does not meaningfully affect the buttons. Because it's sandwiches pretty tightly between the joycon and the shell, the membrane doesn't move and stays in place. Compared to a shell swap which takes an hour of careful work, this took a minute to put on and looks pretty decent. Biggest downside is that you no longer have access to the built in stand, but they do provide a foldable stand that raises the switch off the ground. This will not offer drop protection because it's hard plastic and not a silicone cover, but will provide scratch and light dent protection.
