## Description

Product Description Whether you're furnishing your first home or seeking a space-saving solution for your existing space, Serta delivers. Our conveniently packaged sofas arrive directly at your door in one carton, and they provide the perfect blend of style and comfort you've come to expect from Serta. Don't let living in a modestly sized apartment, or being on a managed budget, be the limiting factors to creating a welcoming home. The Serta Copenhagen collection is designed specifically for smaller living spaces, offering 61", 73" and 78" length options. With a seat depth of 20.5" you can still relax comfortably without the sofa taking up too much space. However, this means the sofa's proportions are better-suited for users under 6 feet tall. The Copenhagen 73", 2-seater sofa arrives in a single convenient box. The unopened box will fit any doorway, hall, stairwell, or elevator. Once in your home, it will thrive in smaller living rooms or home offices, but is a versatile choice for dorms, kid’s rooms, den, and family rooms. Plus, its low-profile will make any smaller space feel open and airy, giving the freedom to mix and match with other furniture pieces. This inviting sofa features clean lines and rolled arms for a timeless look. Upholstered in an anti-pilling polyester fabric or durable bonded leather, the Copenhagen is easy to care for and spills are simple to clean. 13 color options are available to complement your décor. Please note that the actual color may differ slightly from what appears online depending on the amount of light and the positioning of the sofa in any space. Soft pillow backs, generously filled with soft fibers, rest against a backrest with structured webbing to keep things comfortable and supportive. The seat cushions are filled with high-density, non-recycled Serta quality foam, which cover individually wrapped pocket coils for a supportive core and semi-plush sit. Welcome the Serta Copenhagen Sofa into your home for modern style and comfort with space-saving functionality. Lounging or relaxing has never been so convenient. From the Manufacturer For more than 75 years, Serta has been an industry leader in comfort products worldwide. That tradition of innovation and quality continues today. From a brand that is synonymous with quality, comfort and style, the Serta Copenhagen Collection Deluxe Sofa offers many attractive features that you're going to love. Starting with its Tool-free EZ assembly, which is the most convenient and stress free on the market today. This product goes from box to built in mere minutes. But that's just the beginning, this sofa is generous and comfortable as well. In fact, you might find it a great place for a nap. Here's why: Starting from the ground up, you have a solid stance on real wood legs. Next, the lower foundation is constructed with hardwood materials and the tried and true method of mechanically fastened and glued hardwood plywood corner blocks that reinforce the frame and sturdiness, along with scroll style arms with corrugated reinforced outer-sides. Attached to that are heavy-duty 8 gauge anti-sag sinuous springs secured and joined with a double row of tie wire. This forms a comfortable, supportive and lasting seating structure. Resting upon this are seat cushions with rows of individually pocketed comfort coils surrounded by high density seating foam and premium quality poly-fibers on top. This cushion system forms the basis of our " sit down and sink in" feel. Behind that you have the upper structure which consists of more hardwood material and a matrix of non-woven strapping that form a dense and sturdy back structure. In front of that are the pillowed back cushions. These consist of an inner poly-fiber core contained in a non-woven cover to help maintain shape and density. Wrap the whole thing in a lush and luxurious 100-Percent polyester Vanity Fabric and you have a gorgeous piece for any living space. 1 year limited warranty. Product assembly is required. Designed in the USA. Manufacturer style number is CR-43541 .

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great size and looks for an older, smaller home.
*by on Reviewed in the United States May 27, 2015*

This sofa (love seat - 61 inches) arrived on time and in packaging that protected it from damage. I was able to get the box through my front door with the delivery person's assistance. I disassembled the box and moved the sofa to its intended room, piece by piece, by myself. This process took no longer than 5-7 minutes. Assembly was easy, despite the lack of directions in the package. (10-20 minutes) There were four big parts. The couch arrives in two bottom pieces and two back pieces. The cushions for each of the four parts (all of the parts actually) are inside each of the sections, held within by a Velcro covering on the back, which gives the sofa its finished look on its undersides. One of the bottom cushions is space packed and once the package was opened, it inflated to its original size and shape within minutes. The cushions for the four parts have covers that are packed separately and zip on. The backs of these covers are completed partially with sturdy black material and are not able to be reversed, as a result. The decorative pillows are as shown, plain (matches sofa) on one side and the print is on the other. The back of the sofa is covered in the same material as the front and you can use this sofa in the middle of a room, as a result. I received 6 matching wood legs, in total, that screw into drilled and prepared holes. Two of the legs for the middle are attached to each of the sides, on the bottom, but are placed nearer the back and are almost invisible when viewing your sofa from the front. The four parts are assembled with large, furniture assembly screws which have plastic handles so as to enable you to assemble without using any tools. The holes are drilled and prepared and labeled as to which way to place the screw into which side of the hole. I am 5'5" and find the sofa depth comfortable and I can put my feet on the floor. My husband is 6' and is happy with the purchase as well. He does not find it uncomfortable. Kids and young teens may be able to lounge across this sofa. However, if this is your primary intent for the sofa, you may be disappointed. It is comfortable for sitting and watching TV. The seats are not extremely firm, but not really soft either. (firmness is a 3 out of 5) You feel best seated in the center of each cushion, versus in the middle of the sofa. This fits the bill for my older home with 7ft ceilings and rooms smaller than 20X20ft. This size of sofa does not overwhelm the space. This quality is very difficult to find in furniture found in local stores. If you want to lounge on this couch, I think adding a foot stool or ottoman would work really well as I sometimes enjoy using the XBox storage ottoman when I watch TV, while sitting on this sofa.

### ⭐ Cute, but not comfortable
*by on Reviewed in the United States November 21, 2021*

I've had this couch for about 4 months now. It's cute, it fits well in a small space without looking child-sized, and the cushions are fairly plushy and soft. Unfortunately, the back cushions were designed by Satan himself with the sole purpose of ensuring that you can never sit for more than 7 seconds. The back cushions have no structure whatsoever and they're not attached to the back with velcro or anything like most couches, so basically as soon as you sit down they scrunch up in a really uncomfortable way. The seats aren't that big from front to back, so while it doesn't SOUND too bad to have your back cushion melt into a puddle of unstructured stuffing as soon as you touch it, the result is actually that they take up too much of what little space there is on the seat, and you feel like they're actively pushing you off. Trying to watch a movie with your partner? Forget about it. Casually reading on the couch? I'll either end up throwing the back cushions onto the floor in frustration or giving up within a minute or two. I've included 2 pictures--one before I sat down, with the cushions freshly fluffed so they look nice, and the second after sitting down for approximately 20 seconds. This couch looks nice and fits nicely in a small space, but if you actually want to relax on it then find something else.----------------------UPDATE: after a year of dealing with this thing I am changing my 2-star review to a 1-star review. This couch is awful. One side has broken now (for no clear reason, seeing as I'm gentle with the furniture and don't even sit on it that often), the cushions have gotten completley flattened in the middle, you can feel the middle support beam every time you sit down. I know it's a cheap couch, but this kind of wear after only a year of mild to moderate gentle use is ridiculous. Run far away.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice little sofa - easy assembly, comfortable and a great value for the money
*by on Reviewed in the United States November 4, 2022*

I ordered this sofa-in-a-box after some unexpected plumbing repairs took all the money I had saved for a new furniture-store sofa. It seems like most inexpensive sofas of this type are not well-made and fall apart pretty quickly, so I did a lot of research trying to find the most reliable manufacturer. Serta won hands-down for reviews mentioning both easy assembly and a sturdy build. I also wanted a mid-size (apartment-size) sofa, and this one was perfect. The sofa arrives in one big box. Once unpacked you see four main pieces, along with several flyers asking you to PLEASE LOOK INSIDE in big red letters. What they mean is that the lining flaps on the underside of the seat pieces are velcro'd and can be pulled open (gently, I was too vigorous and tore one) and inside are the remaining pieces to put the sofa together. And you will find the back cushions stuffed inside the back seat pieces; pull those out.Once everything is laid out, assembly is straightforward and not too difficult, with clear instructions and numbering. The only problem I ran into is one that others have mentioned; one of the eyebolt holes on the side of the frame had been drilled about a quarter-inch away from where it should have been, so it wasn't possible to bolt that side of the frame until I drilled a new hole in the proper place. There were also a couple of places where no hole had been punched in the lining to accommodate the screw hole underneath, so I had to feel for those places and then cut a hole myself with a work knife. Other than that, assembly was smooth and quick (less than 45 min from unboxing to sitting on it.) Photo is of couch immediately after assembly; the cushion stuffing loosens up and settles a bit after a few hours, so the lump or two you see here went away.Once assembled, it is a comfortable if slightly firm sit that feels very sturdy. I'm glad it is a little too firm now, as sofa cushions always soften with use and they will be ideal once they break in. The frame feels sturdy and supportive and the arms and back-pieces are well-padded. I wish the back pillow cushions were a little firmer, but it will be easy to fix that just by adding more stuffing -- all of the cushions have zip covers, a nice feature since they can be taken off and washed if needed. The fabric is a little bit of a disappointment, though, it feels a rough and a little too thin. I have now covered most of the sofa with a slipcover throw, which eliminated that issue.Overall, I'd say this was an excellent buy and I'm very pleased with it.
