The Prismacolor Premier Sharpener is the best- in - class pencil sharpener. It has two different sharpening angles to suit your needs. Review: cool product but overpriced - hi i loved this product. i bought it for sharpening my sketching pencils but my father suddenly jumped upon it and started sharpening with it. he use pencils for manuscript writing / marking. opening the tub is little tricky btw so after monkeyed around i figured it out from youtube so it is not user friendly at one go. it is cool/precise product which does the job way better. pricing is high or overpriced IMO. thx sayantan
Review: Best sharpening angles - Amazing little thing. I tried searching for a lot of sharpeners on desertcart for a very short length sharpening angle and could not find many that were good. This though, is amazing. Has a medium and short length sharpening angles that i personally like the most, build quality is great. Overall just a great artist grade sharpener at a reasonable price.

**Q: Can i sharp normal pencil using this**
A: Yes

**Q: What if i use normal sharpener to sharpen my prismacolor premier pencil colors???? Would they break off or won't get properly sharpened?**
A: Coloured leads, by their very nature, are soft and prone to breaking, much much more than normal graphite pencils. Added to this is the premium you are paying for a brand like Prismacolor. Therefore it's in your best interests that you buy a specialised sharpener that ensures the soft lead does not break during the sharpening process. You'll find that this sharpener quickly pays for itself. I have three such units

**Q: Can i sharp the worlson pastel pencils? Because they are quite thicker than the normal one.**
A: THis sharpener has two holes (as shown in image also), but both are of standard size. I don't think it would fit a thicker pencil.

**Q: Can use faber castle polychromos to sharp with this prisma sharpener?**
A: Yes you can ...the item is good . There is one issue however I am unable to find out as to how to empty the sharpened contents. Can someone advise ?

Absolutely fantastic product. If you are using prismacolor colored pencil than you should definitely buy this. This is the only sharpner which specially designed according the shape of pencil. So it sharp pencil without breaking it tip. Artist should Definitely buy this.
