In my opinion it is good choice for a beginner who has never tried garlic powder. Does this one dissolve fast in water ? Well I placed some of this garlic powder with regular cold tap water in a flat-bottom borosilicate Erlenmeyer flask. Next I placed it on a mag stir, and it dissolved yes. Just not super fast like premium quality brands. Which got me thinking. How will it work for trout bait ? So I decided to make my own floating trout dough bait. Because this is a very cheap powder, I am currently broke right now, and cannot afford premium quality brand floating bait. So I found a recipe with a simple internet search that listed cheap common household items, and made my own floating dough bait. This was a lot of fun to do by the way, I recommend trying this. So I went to a nice trout fishing spot I enjoy fishing at. I used my home made floating bait and it worked very well. I gave some to a friend of mine who also said that it worked for him.
