So I thought about trying the Pedialyte just to see if it might help because drinking water all the time just wasn’t doing what I needed it to do. And to my astonishment it worked. As long as I keep drinking at least 1 liter of it a day ( which adds up money wise real quick) my skin stays pretty normal and not itchy. But if I run out or don’t drink enough of it, the flaking and itchiness starts all over again. I love this Blueberry flavor, the Strawberry, and the Cherry is pretty delicious as well. I am on disability for several different diagnosis and I just wish this wasn’t so expensive. I really do much better drinking 2 liters a day. But at basically 5 bucks a liter 2 liters a day would put me at 300.00 a month and that’s a third of my monthly check. I am still happy though that I’ve finally found something that works. Review: Not just for kids! I am a grown-up recovering from jaw surgery. Have been on a liquid diet for 7 weeks and have been having trouble getting my nutrition and hydration right. This product (especially the blueberry flavor...yum!) has been a staple in my diet ever since the oral surgeon recommended it to me, and I love the taste. Not cheap, but cheaper on desertcart than in any drug store I have found. Once I'm fully healed I am going to have to give up my expensive Pedialyte "habit," not looking forward to that. The zinc is an extra plus for wound healing.
