Great color combination. Love that the color stays on for hours. I add a coat of clear lip gloss when going out for the evening to give it even more depth and shine. You do need to reapply after eating for the best color, but with the set of four colors, it is easy to pop one in your pocket or purse. The square design keeps the tube right where you place it on the table too! The price is affordable.

I really like this lip stain. It does work, it's easy to apply and the price is right. I'm happy it has a screw on top preventing the cap from easily coming off in your bag. It's quite small so it's not long-lasting if used daily. I adore the color shown in the picture. Note:don't apply much to the corners of your lips/mouth as it can stain your skin. I have purchased this product more than once and would purchase again.

I was a bit concerned that the Berry Queen would look too purple, but also knew I needed a bit of that for my cool complexion. It's a strong color but it's controllable so I dap some off after applying and leaving for a moment. I use a little on my cheeks too when I am using on my lips. It does stain tho so blend out ASAP. I love stains most for my needs and this Elf one as been a godsend as it's not as drying as any I've used before. I also love the Power Mauve, tho I do not feel it looks the same on me as any examples I've seen. It almost looks a bit peachy and far less blue than "Mauve" should be and a little lighter than I expected (again, on me at least). My lips have a more blue/soft mauve tint naturally. Mauve-like colors are what I've learned to look for, so this Berry Queen has the right amount of blue to really complement and not look out of place. I do find this color to be buildable, but the color will wear down a bit to a more subtle "stain" and need more applications to keep bold. Worth it for me because I can't keep lip color on my lips to save my life. Side note: I'm all about French aesthetics and being as natural as possible/enhancing natural beauty. So if this is your thing, you may very much enjoy one of these stains! Reason for my 4 vs 5 stars: I like the applicator, but the packaging is so freaking wasteful. It's my primary gripe with Elf in general. If I can find a clean beauty product that works the same (even if at a somewhat higher price point) with less waste, I will switch. I think they could do better.

And I’m so disappointed! I read Amazon reviews, you tube reviews, etc and most claimed a long lasting stain. Not for me. Despite making sure my lips were exfoliated, dry and clean, the stain wears off fairly quickly- a few hours at best. If I eat, most stain is gone except for around the edges of my lips. The absolute best very long wearing lip color is Maybelline matte. But I don’t care for matte on my lips as matte accentuates my lip wrinkles. So I wear elf over my Maybelline matte! Great combination, I get saturated, long wearing color but with a glossy finish. The elf by itself feels nice on my lips and isn’t drying, I love the natural looking color and shine, but it just doesn’t stay on very long.

I absolutely love the spicy sienna lip stain! When first applied, it feels very rich and moisturizing and the color is beautiful! It is transferrable at first, but once it dries, it is not. The rich, vibrant color doesn't last long, but it is a beautiful shade even as it dries and becomes more faint. Some of the pictures show it when freshly applied and others about an hour later where the shade is still visible, just not intense. I normally just throw this on when I don't have time to worry about lip liner and gloss, but just want something nice and simple on my lips. I apply it quickly without a mirror (hence no lip liner in the pics), and keep some at my desk at work so I can throw it on quickly if I have to run to a meeting and don't have time for my normal lip combo. I love it so much that I was inspired to write this review as soon as I applied it this morning. I didn't have time to apply my normal lip combo and decided to throw this on since I was running behind. I have used more expensive lip stains but always find myself coming back to this one the most frequently. I highly recommend this for people who want a nice color, without going through the time to create a perfect lip combo.

I was really excited to try the e.l.f. Glossy Lip Stain in Spicy Sienna, as I love a good low-maintenance lip product. However, after testing it for a few days, I found that it doesn't quite live up to its claims of being a "long-lasting stain. . It feels like a ELF products have gone down ALOT! Color Mismatch The first thing I noticed is that the color in person is much lighter than what is shown in the product photography. In the pictures, "Spicy Sienna" looks like a deep, warm terracotta/burnt red. On my lips, it pulled very pale and sheer—almost like a light nude peach. If you are looking for that rich, autumnal pigment, you might find this version a bit disappointing. Formula & Texture Not Much of a Stain: The product is marketed as a lip stain, but it behaves much more like a standard lip gloss. It has a nice shine initially, but once the gloss wears off (which happens quickly), there is very little "stain" or color left behind on the lips. Consistency: The formula is very thin. While it feels lightweight and isn't sticky, it lacks the staying power I expect from a stain. I found myself having to reapply it every hour, which defeats the purpose of a long-wear product. Poor Quality Feel: Compared to other e.l.f. products I love, this one feels a bit "cheap." The pigment doesn't apply evenly, and it tends to settle into lip lines rather than tinting the skin uniformly. Pros Vegan & Cruelty-Free: As always, e.l.f. gets points for being ethical and budget-friendly. Hydrating: It does feel comfortable and moisturizing while it’s on, much like a lip oil or balm. Applicator: works well Taste: none Cons Lacks Longevity: Zero "staining" power once the gloss is gone. Misleading Color: Significantly lighter and more sheer than the swatches. It was supposed to be a dark red but if see in my photo it looks more close to a pinkish nude. Uneven Wear: Doesn't leave a smooth tint; looks patchy as it fades. If you are looking for a very sheer, lightweight lip gloss, you might enjoy this. But if you are actually looking for a "lip stain" that will last through a meal or stay vibrant all day, I’d skip this one. It’s a bit too thin and poorly pigmented to be called a true stain. For the price, it's "okay," but the quality just wasn't there for me!

Although I found the color to be pretty, it’s NOT a stain in any way whatsoever! Basically tinted gloss. However, my main complaint is the tube/container it comes in doesn’t allow for the product to get onto the applicator! I have tried to push it down and rotate it around to get lip product on the applicator and it won’t move and product isn’t getting on the lip sponge. I’ve tried hitting it and banging it against the counter in hopes of some liquid hitting the applicator and nope! Nothing! So even if this was a stain (which it isn’t), I got maybe 3 uses of it before I had to deem it impossible to use. They need to redesign the container and actually make it a stain. Just disappointed.

I love it. Great colour and stays on for a couple of hours. Juicy feel and hydrating lip gloss stain(kinda). Small to take in your purse and reaply.

Me encanto la consistencia y color, es súper hidratante, tiene un brillo muy sutil y además el color permanece por un buen tiempo. El único contra es que realmente es muy pequeño, pero viendo lo bueno dentro de lo malo, es un empaque muy practico lo que te permite llevarlo en cualquier lugar💘💘💘

My favourite lip product, leaves a nice tint and moisturises. It’s give a nice sheen, but isn’t sticky. The colour is perfect and the stain that’s left lasts a long time. This is the second one I have purchased after not being able to find it in the shops anymore. I hope elf never discontinue this product!!

I should have looked better before to see that it's only 3ml. It has an ok tint but idk about staining and it's kind of drying my lips.

This is my go-to lip stain. At first I was worried that it might be too red or the wrong red for me - but when I put it on, I realized the red is unique in that it's almost transparent, so it looks like your lips, but better.
