Review: Best engine oil for Honda bikes - I used three different fully synthetic engine oils of grade 10w40, out of which Shell Advance Ultra gave the best performance. I put following fully synthetic oils in my 2009 Honda Unicorn 150: 1. Motul 7100 10w40: good cold start performance, smooth upto 40kmph, above 40kmph low pickup, overheating. Tappet sound started coming after 10kms of riding. Clutch performance dropped. 2. Castrol power 1 ultimate 10w40: takes time to warm up/ cold start takes time, Once warmed up gives excellent acceleration between 40-100kmph speed range. Prevents overheating, engine remains cool. excellent clutch grip. 3. Shell Advance ultra 10w40: Good cold start performance, excellent acceleration across entire 0-100kmph speed range, engine feels smooth, unlocked. Good clutch grip. No overheating, engine remains cool.

I used three different fully synthetic engine oils of grade 10w40, out of which Shell Advance Ultra gave the best performance. I put following fully synthetic oils in my 2009 Honda Unicorn 150: 1. Motul 7100 10w40: good cold start performance, smooth upto 40kmph, above 40kmph low pickup, overheating. Tappet sound started coming after 10kms of riding. Clutch performance dropped. 2.
