Review: best case I've owned - I've been looking for that perfect mini PC form factor, and I may have found it. Outside the normal pain of ITX builds, this case was easy to work with, and lets me use my RX 9070 CPU in ITX form factor. The top firing fan exhausts the CPU well, and the side fan helps with the GPU. My GPU hasn't cracked 60 C as I've been runnigng benchmarks and stress tests. Only downside is with the GPU pointing down, and I need to use HDMI, I had to buy a 90 degree adapter. It does come with an adapter for DP, but the monitor I'm using it on doesn't have DP.
Review: Good, but does not come with any case fans. - "【ADVANCED MESH COOLING SYSTEM】: Dual 120x15mm ultra-slim fans..." That statement, along with their pictures, is misleading, and implies that this L300 case comes with 2 120x15mm fans when it does not include fans. Both case fans are basically needed. Unlike regular ATX builds that are usually over 30 liters, these much smaller cases need to exhaust heat. The CPU, and video card will intake air, and both case fans should be set to exhaust for best results. Arctic, Thermalright, Noctua, Silverstone, etc all have 120x15mm fans, but that's another $15-$50. My build: Shiny Snake L300 case Thermalright AXP90x47 Full Copper SFX PSU Intel 13600k 2 120x15mm case fans Triple fan video card Initial impressions: This L300 case is well made, and thought out. It looks like it does in the pictures. It's a clean mesh design. It's not high end, but it doesn't feel, or look cheap. Ports are where they should be for a desktop. The lighting on the power button isn't diffused evenly, and I don't think you can turn it off since it's a full header that covers motherboards front panel connectors. The video cards ports are on the bottom of the case, and besides the included display port cable, you will need 90 degree cable or adapter for each additional monitor you plan to use. The included cable will most likely block at least one slot. The case is all mesh, it's metal, and pretty solid. It's not too difficult to build in. Like any SFF build using the right parts, and some planning is needed. It saves some desk space. If you have the space consider the L400. It's slightly taller, and longer, but mostly wider by almost 1.5'. It has more space for better cooling. Cooling is decent with the right parts. It's as loud as your fans are. It's not silent, but with ambient noise, it is not very noticeable unless gaming because that ramps up all of fans. The included PCIE riser, and angled display port cable work fine so far, and the little handle is a nice touch. No issues installing the motherboard, or PSU. You may want to route some cables before screwing parts down. Cable management was ok. I could keep most of the fan areas free from obstruction. My Intel CPU has been gaming in the 60's. For Intels, 65w CPU's are probably ideal as they are usually well under 100w while gaming. With their higher wattage CPU's, you will want to undervolt if heat, and noise is a concern. The efficient AMD/x3d CPU's should also work well due to their low power while gaming. If you plan to do intensive work with your CPU, maybe look at the L400, etc instead. The L400 can fit 73mm coolers, and something like the Thermalright AXP120-67 CPU cooler is a better option for that. L300 with 60mm space, does allow for several decent low profile CPU coolers. Thermalright AXP90x47, or x53 full copper are 2 of the best options with the ID Cooling is-55 coming in just a bit warmer than the coppers generally. Even the regular Thermalright AXP90-x53 can work well with 65w CPU's, but will be a bit hotter, and louder. You will want to mount whatever cooler with the fins orientated vertically, to make it easier for the top fan to exhaust the hot air from the CPU, etc. No issues installing the PCIE riser, and video card. You might want to leave the riser a bit loose, and tighten it safely after the card is locked down. My triple fan card has plenty of space. Again, being a mesh case, you shouldn't have too many issues with temps as long as exhaust fans are installed, and not too obstructed. I would not recommend "blower" style cards in this case as it would have to exhaust out of the bottom the case. Try to keep your video cards heatsink fins unobstructed so that heat can escape easier. Both fans were easy to install. You might want to do this step last so you have room to work. Be sure to try to keep both fans unobstructed so they can help remove hot air as that could make the difference with heat, and noise. The front fan mainly helps with video cards, and the top handles the CPU, and any other heat that rises. Minor complaint, there's 2 positions for the top fan, front, or back. It would have been nice if it had a center position so it sits right above the CPU cooler. Not great for RGB obviously. No windows, and it will probably require some cable management to show RGB through the mesh. 1 star has come off for the false advertising of fans. Besides that, this case is probably 4-4.5 stars. Price was ok, no issues building it, performance is as expected, and quality is decent. An angled cable that doesn't block ports, and option to turn off the light on the power switch would be nice, along with both fans. There is PCIe 3, 4, and even PCIe 5 riser options. Not sure why they still produce PCIe3, and charge such a premium on PCIe4+, but it reflects market pricing.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Budget SFF
*by E***Y on March 13, 2026*

Absolute joy to build in. Plenty of extra screws and hardware. It is a little difficult to squeeze the top fan in, make sure you use a slim for it. The front fan can accommodate standard size though. Looks great on my small "writers" desk. Only issue for me is that the 90 degree cable I chose to use is a bit bigger and as such i needed to put some pads on the feet to raise up the case a few millimeters.
