My advice is to insure you run a ground lead to the back of the pot chassis. Do not omit this... excellent pot! For EVH, Eddie would use a no load 500k tone pot. I regret you’ll need to search : Bourns No load 500k to find the pot or possibly turn to Fender for that pot.
