It was surprisingly easy. I used the dust removing sticker first ( helpfully full sized) then followed the instructions for the applicator. The screen went on perfectly with no fuss. No bubbles, perfectly lined up, no gaps. Maybe I was just lucky that a speck of dust didn’t land on the screen before I could get the glass on but I expect the frame being quick and easy to use helped with that. The picture clarity is unaffected. You can’t tell the protector is there.
